| Hello fellow fans/watchers of Arata Kangatari! I just found this anime today , and when I started watching the 1st episode of it , it really gets me and intrigued me a lot , and thus without noticing it I already watched 6 episodes , haha. Now , my main-point here is that I really wonder why many people rate it low. (Reminder : I AM JUST WONDERING OKAY) To me , the opening and ending theme are both really cool and catchy , the story , well even though there's a minor part which is quite cliche its still being enjoyable or at least to me . The characters was okay , the way the producer/oc wants to portray the important point in this anime which is 'betrayal and trust' flows really well too.The art / animation is really amazing , a typical 2013 anime. For now , let me repeat , for now I rate it 10/10.Biggest reason is that I just happen to find this anime suite my taste :) Therefore , I would really appreciate if you , fellow watchers/fans share your thought on this anime with your score and reason , I just want to know thats all xD P/s: I really hope that this anime have a second season and will be up to atleast 24 episode..if its really 12 episodes only then I can predict its ending and might drastically drop the score to 7 (depends on the ending) I have high expectations on this anime , I really hope it won't 'betrays' my hope . HAHA! |

| I haven't scored this yet but I would probably give it at least a 7, so far. 7 is NOT a low score, it just seems that way..I can't speak for the other people, but for me, the first episode was interesting and had a great hook, but the next few episodes were not too entirely exciting. I don't know why I didn't find it exciting, but it reminded me of how I tried to read the manga a few years ago but couldn't get into. I thought maybe watching the anime would motivate me to pick up the manga again, but I guess it just hasn't fully appealed to me yet. However, I did like the last two and half episodes. It's enjoyable as you say, but nothing too special yet. Maybe a huge part as to why the anime doesn't fully click with me is because the characters aren't anything special. I'm more interested in seeing the other Arata. I don't find the animation too amazing either, it's pretty mediocre? Or maybe I just don't like the character designs, the noses look weird at times (but of course I'm just nitpicking). You said you rated it a 10/10 so far because it suits your taste, and I guess there's your answer. Arata Kangatari may not suit everyone's tastes, therefore, they rate it lower. It can also be a difference in individuals' rating system. Some people are harsher, others are not. ^^ I would like for this to be a longer series though, since there are so many chapters out and the manga is still running...seems like if they just stopped at 12 episodes, nothing will really be solved. |
| It was an okay anime imo, I enjoyed the story watching the first episodes but I don't appreciate how it's being developed. I didn't read the manga though... |

| I find the anime pretty boring, but that's just me. The characters act was wimpy throughout the whole series and still is (I hate this in MC's.) The plot is okay, but nothing amazing and yeah... I'm probably only watching this still because I want to see the fighting and stuff. Another thing is that comparing this to other types of genres with the same stuff it falls in comparison of bringing emotion and the such. I'd rate it around 4.5-5. If I were to use my old rating scale prob a 7, where I took enjoyment into account for the majority of my score (Being generous since I've only joined episodes 4-6 so far. |

| The anime has been pretty boring and generic from the beginning. I had high hopes when he took that one prison guy's sword and soul. But nothing has really happened since then. I have it at a 6 or 5, I'll see how it ends. |

| Most of people find this show boring. In my opinion, I love it. The plot it's something that runs somewhat low at beginning but after that, it turns better. It's an enjoyable show, and characters design it's okay. That's my personal opinion, if people think otherwise, that's totally respectable. Each one with their tastes. |

| it's ok feels rushed (manga reader can confirm this) and the animation is meh. Could have been something really interesting if the studio was serious about it. |

I think I understand quite a bit why you went with that score...Like me I only give this show a rate of 10/10 when I've finished watched 6 episode ..my level of excitement was slightly decreasing as of onwards and that I've got to be honest :P but meh , I still enjoy the anime anyway so I guess I'll see it to the end xD |
