Lol, Tamaki is still her usual self even after all that.

Some of the action scenes were okay I guess. There's definitely some nice info giving out regarding some of the past battles and oh, lovely artwork here:

Totally agree with that. Its score is even lower than other worse shows.

Boingful buubies,

Paapuru Tsuu! Kitenno Ka?

Rinrin's so cute in this ep.

Bad character facial expression drawing, as usual.

Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances.
He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter.
Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga.
Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month.
Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel.
The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck.

Not a bad ep.

Rin-Rin is unexpectedly soooo cute!!! Maybe it's the Miyuki effect <3

Hope that the Doberman team will be friendly and not arrogant asses (though from what I see in the pv hopefully it seems they're the former.)

Also it seems that the white haired girl was from the Walgrus side after all. I wonder if a romance between Izuru and her will develop?

As I stated last week, save for Izuru (on the fence) and lightweight Rin-Rin, the characters have no resonance with the audience or even each other. Nothing is really binding them together except for the fact they're all immature twats even for their own age. I'm surprised this close call hasn't made their rapport any better but nope Team Rabbits* is still a hodge podge group akin to trying to put a circle block into a square slot. It just doesn't work. Hopefully something changes this and I'm looking forward to see it happen

*Just the 5 kids. Rin-Rin is is probably the most relatable/likable character in the entire show. I appreciated her outbursts when she was drunk about how she should have always trust in her students and never give up on them but was put between a rock and a hard place because her douchey commander

It's still debatable whether the white hair girl is on the enemy side because in Episode 2 you see that she is one of the sponsors of the MJP project.

Doesn't this make you hungry?

Well, well, after three boring, dull, and uninspired episodes, Majestic Prince has decided to step it up a notch. We get much darker themes this episode that were touched upon last time. We get to see some new characters in Team Doberman. We also get some nice fight scenes and some actually almost tense moments.

I do have some questions here though that this poses. Supposedly they genetically engineer soldiers so that they can take them at age 12 and train them to be soldiers. However, this society doesn't seem to be lacking in able-bodied adults. Why would you want to have emotional, erratic, unstable teens and preteens as your army's main defense?

Anyway, we get some interesting backstory on characters and we get some emotional scenes dealing with the team and their lack of memories and thus families.

And it's confirmed that our Lacus-clone white-haired girl is one of the aliens, as well as her bodyguard valet. And right on time, she wants there to be an understanding between the two races so there won't have to be war. Sigh.

But that begs the question, the mysterious, suspicious Cmdr. Simon obviously works with her and supposedly knows she's an alien, I'm guessing. So, is he an alien too, is he a human double agent? It was rather timely for him to send out the Doberman team, just as it was obvious that there was no way Team Rabbits was going to come out of it unscathed.

Well, it seems MJP has pulled it self out of the hole, if only by a fraction. Now whether they keep this up or not is another story. I hope so, for its sake.

I give this episode a 6.9/10.

Actually that's the kicker, it's supposed since she was observing them that she was a sponsor, but that might not be the case. This is especially since the meeting was done in a shadowy secretive manner. I think it's much more obvious from the fact that she is learning human words for things like "picture book" and talking with her valet using the terms "us" and "them", plus that shot of some sort of temple in space. Not to mention the fact that she looks a lot like the alien prince. I'd say it's been confirmed that she's one of the aliens.

In fact this actually makes Cmdr. Simon more suspicious since he seems to be working with her, and his views on team Rabbits conflict. To Rin and everyone in the army, he seems very supportive and encouraging of them. However, when he was with alien girl, he talks of them with disdain. Saying that they are not even worthy of their titles. You can tell the guy is hiding something. Is he a double-agent? A spy? A traitor? Is he one of the aliens?

These at all questions MJP will have to answer eventually.

Pretty much sums it up.. They have copied 70% of all elements from Gundam seed and other similiar series, so guessing the next events is not too hard..

I am glad Tamaki was aright. Izuru saves the day.

Lol @
Tamaki: "I've always wanted to go on a date!"
Izuru: "Even if we make it back, that may not happen..."
Tamaki: "What's with that serious answer?"
Asagi: ">.> That's not what you say at a time like this!"
Suruga: "Just tell her she'll find a date!"
Kei: "Scum"

Close call for Izuru. For a moment I thought Asagi would have helped him. But thankfully Team Doberman came to the rescue and save them.

I feel bad for Team Rabbit for their memories being erased.

Lacus clone is an alien. So basically they are fighting her people? She wants to both races to understand one another and end this war.

Patrick seems nice/friendly while the other two look intimidating/mean looking.
Hopefully they learn will from Team Doberman in the next episode.

Not feeling these character interactions.
Not enough dialogue between the group about things unrelated to the main plot.
Same with the battle they're fighting. Completely generic.

So, have fun guys, I`m out.

Enjoyed the episode. Got to see some more background on characters, really liking Rin-Rin. The finish to the fight was also nice. Seems the white hair girl is an alien who wants the fighting to stop. Guessing she is going to be red mech pilots love interest? Team Doberman could be some nice guys and help with maturing Team Rabbit.

Yeah it has some Gundam elements in it, but what mech show doesn't? I would argue Valverave has alot more Gundam in it than this.

It is also possible that "AHSMB" technology was brought in by her. It could be that she is seeking help from human to fight her own kind.

Technically, while Azuru did act heroically this episode, it was really Team Doberman that saved the day.

Man, that has to be embarrassing being outshined by a three man team with standard mechs and having them save you from being blasted to oblivion. But the Doberman team are their seniors and seem to be cool guys, so there is that.

We really don't know if the aliens are warmongers or if they have a legitimate reason for fighting the humans. This is one the few times I've seen where nobody even knows WHY they are at war. It really seems like nobody knows anything about the Wulguri except tactical stuff. Nobody knows who they are, what they are, or why they are suddenly attacking our solar system. I guess there are no ambassadors or diplomats in the earth forces in this future.

I'm still finding the comedic parts random and not funny...but that's just me. I just looked at the person in charge of scripts/series composition and wtf. She worked on some of my favorite anime like Aria, Kaleido Star, and Kimi to Boku...but this anime hasn't clicked with me yet. Granted this is a different genre from the other anime that I've seen where she was part of the series composition or script, so it's hard to compare, but I still have hope.

I can understand having one-note characters, but they need to at least be somewhat likeable. The "hero" constantly compares everything to manga, the sniper awkwardly hits on girls, the ditz complains about not having a boyfriend while her breasts bounce, the sourpuss grumbles about his stomach and the ice princess barely does anything. If there was more action it'd be somewhat forgivable, but to have to watch these "characters" talk about nothing is getting old. Also, Hisashi Hirai's character designs really aren't helping. Why do all of his characters look like drunken muppets?

To sum up this episode:

Awesome action scenes,

some more back story on why the 5 were picked

why does Team Doberman only have 3 members? The preview looks like the possible leader of the team Doberman will be telling a lesson to Izuru.

The mystery of the white hair girl. I think she is an alien against her own kind, judging by those flashbacks.

The technology for the AHSMB units are also similar to that one unique enemy unit.

The Juria system was made by Juria right? but who is Juria?

The jokes though are random and are at bad timings, seriously who would want to hear a joke about Tamaki not getting a date when they are in the middle of a serous battle. It killed the atmosphere.

Good thing the drunk instructor is carrying on this show up for me and the flaw of 3 main characters using the same joke over and over again. Stomach ulcers, No dates, perverted nerd. They show no other personality, it like they been created just for spamming these 3 jokes.

At least Izuru is trying to be a hero, and the ice princess finally show some more emotion but... she supporting unit role which can't fight and apparently can not react or dodge in her AHSMB.

I really don't know what "par" this show isn't up to. Pretty much everything is good, and it's not trying to be anything it's not. It has a solid cast and seems to know exactly where it's going without relying on cheap tricks, fanservice or flashy bullshit.

I can say by now that it's a lot more enjoyable than Gargantia, and infinitely better than Valvrave in every way.

The only drawback that owns the series is the character design is not too well for those looking for a serious mecha crap! For the rest it does not seem so bad and is not graphically pleasing, well the OP and ED behave with dignity, because illusion be shattered only on the fact to look like that series or that other series! This show has become too boring. The characters are bland, not interesting at all. The only good thing this series offers is music and pretty visuals. Will drop this, if it was a 12 episode series then I possibly wouldn't have dropped it, but it's too hard to deal with this shit though out 24 episodes. If it gets better, which I doubt then let me know.

Exciting Episode!!!

I liked the action in this and the art used for explaining the past battles were epic. MJP sure were pretty tired after all that but the MP return back to Guarantee Cosmopolitan Academy and it seems like their senior team were the ones who rescued them known as 'Team Doberman". Looking forward to how the story progresses in the next episode!!
