Wow this thing is really slice of life. The elders were bathing in a hot spring at the beginning, then the kid and his parents went out shopping, they came back, there was something else about the highschool girls. Anyways, couldn't follow it even with the subs.

Just wondering but why is each full episode a combination of 3 separate episodes? Does this show air three times each week?

Hmm, I guess it's because I'm not so familiar with the characters and setting. The show is rather fast paced I'd say, and mainly conversation driven. Perhaps I should check out the first few episodes.

there topical driven based on a news story that happened on day of airing [ ie they disscuss it] Like the manga does
thats the no 1 reason the manga will never be Traslated cause it Topical driven

I believe episode 5149 still topped all of these because it provided a lot of multi-layered characterization for the whole cast.

NO FUCKING WAY!The 4275 episode is unforgettable.

Of couse not,in the episode 6687 they put a 4 dimensional character in the history.

Trying to watch all available anime series so you won't have to anymore, the list of anime I can recommend is still in progress, tho

On MAL each episode is split into three I believe.

Well actually now I don't think it is. The episode length is set to 24 minutes on its page which would mean that they don't split it up. It's just these people who made the episode discussion threads that split them up.
