| I know it's common topic in all Anti-FC, but I'd like to find out why do you hate her. And we have to keep the club alive, don't we? For me, she's too nice. I know that's strange but I tend to dislike characters who are smiling all the time. It's annoying when she acts so caring and thoughtful, even towards people she doesn't know. E.g. helping a lost child find his mother. WTF? And I can't stand Night Class constantly telling us about "sweet smell of her blood". We get it, no need to repeat it over and over! Edit by Rena: Since you didn't state it by yourself, and since your post is the first one of the thread, I have to say it. Members, ALWAYS use spoiler tags when you're going to post something that is a spoiler (or the hint of a spoiler), or I'll have to edit or delete your post by myself. I hate weak willed females like her in manga. Get a back bone and stop being such a pussy. Also, I hate her character design. She's pretty fugly. Although that might be a genetic defect because In short, I am unable to read the manga further because she is so loathsome a being. |

| Yuki is maybe the worst Mary-Sue I've ever seen. She's annoying, stupid, superficial, slutty, undecisive, too trustful, and above all, useless. She has the brain of a 5 yo. She's the usual dumb and weak damsel in distress who constantly gets in trouble, and everyone, most likely Zero, have to hurry up and save her. She passes the time daydreaming like a stupid teenager (oh wait, she IS a stupid teenager), not even noticing the mess around her and the problems Zero is passing due to her. Plus, she's FAR from being pretty: her fucking big eyes are scary, her expressions are idiotic, and she has the body of a 10 yo. :-| What's the point in having such a pathetic and lame female protagonist in a great manga like VK? Seriously, if Hino-sensei wanted to ruin it, she hit the mark. Just looking at Yuki makes me sick. Just saying her name makes me puke. Just seeing her being a whore now with Zero, now with Kaname, makes me want to scream and bash her in until I'm satisfied (=until she dies). Now, with all these happy feelings coming out as soon as I see Yuki, how can I enjoy reading VK, I wonder? At the beginning she was yes lame and average, but I didn't actually HATE her. Now, in every volume she gets worse and worse, she's unbearable, nothing she does makes sense, her stupidity ruins the manga, the mood, everything. Just hurry up and die. /rant |

But what irritates me more than Mary Sue's are character that are obviously made to be liked by everyone, be the love interest of everyone, try to help everyone and being stronger than everyone and are weakest frikin' character of the series. She always says "oh my, I can't do anything for 'what's-his-name', whatever shall I do now?" and she always messes something up and 'what's-his-name' always has to come save her, I mean isn't the point of weak lead characters to become stronger, not more whiny.And she is so selfish, everything she does that hurts people she does for herself, I don't want to lose Zero, I don't want t be hated by Aido yada,yada,yada... And last but not least... she's tottaly useless. - If she didn't exist Rido would still wreack havoc (he would still be inlove with Jurri) - If she didn't exist the Night and Day classes would still exist (Jurri didn't want the school just because she was pregnant or something) - If she didn't exist Zero's family would still have been killed by Shizuka and he would still hate purebloods etc. My point is that she doesn't seem to have any connection to the main plot. What annoys me the most sometimes though is that Matsuri-sensei has given her a best friend that is SO NOT best friendly, I mean they barely interact, what's up with that? Aren't best friends supposed to be like together all the time. And yeah, okay "keep the secret" and everything but come ON, best friends aren't all about sitting next to each other in the classroom. Anywho, that's all I can think of... for now. |
