A spacious room with its walls extravagantly decorated with intricate designs carved onto it. The columns that were
erected near the walls served more on the aesthetics rather than functionality having hollow cores if one checked
too closely., The ceiling five times as high that the usual establishments had abstract painting mainly colored with
varying shades and tints of yellow and red. On one edge, a lone chair sits.

The large wooden doors that lead into the throne room suddenly burst open, and quite loudly as well. A woman of
noticeable pink hair stood there and dropped the lifeless body that she was holding by the neck onto the smooth
tiled flooring. A small smirk was on her face as she steeped in and walked toward the throne across the room. Every
step she took, as her heels clicked noisily against the floor, a large magic circle began to reveal itself.

Stopping in front of the throne, the pink haired woman rummaged under her pristine white cloak as she turned
around muttering inaudible words under her breath. Soon a few more people had followed her into the room.
However, the magic had started to glow and soon emitted a strange light. As the light subsided, the pink haired
      woman disappeared.

However, you are suddenly brought to the throne room. The sight you see upon opening your eyes were lifeless
bodies scattered about. If curiosity would control your actions, you would notice that they didn't have faces but
there were no traces of it getting burned. The patterns on the floor still remained, ever faintly glowing a pink light.
This, however, might not be important. If you would listen closely, you may hear muffled sobs behind the throne.

You are free to choose your next course of action.

The man opened his eyes and seeing that the pinkett had disappeared, folded his arms and grunted in disapproval. UuAt least the clicking of the heels had stopped, nevertheless, he didn't like being made a fool of, but he kept his cool and started to take notice of his surrounding. The room was spacious, the walls were decorated with intricate carvings and the columns, that were erected near the walls screamed nothing more but royality, which the man despised. With every moment, he stayed in the room, his displeasure grew.

Then he took notice of the lifeless bodies that were scattered about and the sobbing behind the throne. Pathetic he tought. For now, he ingonerd the sobbing and started to inspect something more interesting, the faceless bodies. His furrow only deepend, when the facelessness seemed natural. When he noticed the pink glow on the floor his upper lip rose a few centimeters to show his disgust at this ploy. If the man were a conspiracy theorist he would think this were a blatant royalist trap, but thank the gods he wasn't. He was just very cautious. Thus, he ignored his "companions" and took a step closer to a lifeless body. He stretched his hand out and soon a icicle the size of the mans fist appeared, hovering above the lifeless body. With indifference the man shot the icicle at the corpse. The dead should stay dead, and he is making sure of it.

Angelica blinks. Rain eyes painted with steel gray scan her surroundings, not bothering with either the corpses or the other people present in the room. She is, afterall, the Lady of the Liliths - thus, the best at controlling their natural illusion potency. It isn't as if some mere humans will pose a problem; and the supernatural is something Angel didn't fear. Her keen ears pick up the sound of muffled sobs. Smoothing down her sapphire-colored sundress, she soundlessly makes her way across the room, ballet flats seeming to step on the air above the ground rather than the crass, over-decorated floor as she walks.

Thanks to her speed, she is now next to the throne. Curious, she looks behind it, and unknown feelings pass through her orbs of storm as they are met with the sight of a crying child. Angelica imperceptibly opens her mouth to say something, but she closes it right after, red-painted lips pursing together thinly.

Even as the long haired, bearded man impaled the lifeless corpse to the floor, strangely, it did not bleed. It seemed
more like wet paper when the icicle had started melting on it. Another woman emerged in, almost in time as the man
did. It was evident that she cared not for the corpses as he did. Instead, with light and quickened steps, she
approached the throne and peered behind it, seeing the child weeping.

The child with noticeable shiny lavender colored hair that reached up to her a few centimeters above her shoulder
looked up. Her eyes, that matched the color of her hair, were slightly swollen from crying. The child herself was
wearing one piece and seemed around 9 or 10 years old. She clung somewhat on the silver haired woman's dress
looking relieved. She glanced at the man before hiding herself from him, scared from his looks.

"A-are you here to h-help me?" she nervously asked the woman when she looked up at her again.

Instinctively, Angelica's hands clasp around the girl's elbows gently, steadying the child's mildly shaking form. She nods, smiling dimly. "I will, if you will tell me what is going on and what I can do." Then, noticing the girl's reaction to the man with some sort of ice manipulation abilities, she glances sideways at him. Would he hurt a child? Hm. She didn't know him, so she couldn't tell; but she knew one thing - no one abuses innocents in her presence, no matter their race, religion or origins.

The man raised an eyebrow at the at the wet piece of paper now lying in front of his feet. He didn't know if he should be relieved or concerned. Now that that was out of the way, the man could concentrate on something much more unnerving - the woman, who was now holding the child. Her speed was inhuman, monstrous even. He kept a stoic face while studying her. Her choice of attire was strange and so was her hair color. But he made a note to stay on her good side, just in case things go haywire. While the man was in thought a small conversation took place between the small girl and the woman. He ignored the glance the woman sent his way, because the man was now somewhat interested in the girl's words, but he could have cared less. What is there to lose, he thought to himself and stepped closer to females. But out of instinct he stayed a good safe distance away from both of them, the woman gave him bad vibes, she was dangerous for sure, but how dangerous? When he was close enough for comfort, he nodded his head towards the small girl, to show that he was listening and for her to continue.

The little girl timidly nodded her head as he grip on the woman's clothes didn't loosen at all. She cautiously glanced up at the man before looking down at the floor again.

"Their hearts has been stolen," she said, pointing at the lifeless entities lying on the ground. "Please help me get them back. I can't do it... so I need your help."

The girl rubbed her eyes to prevent another tear from falling.

Angelica tilts her head in a puppy fashion. Was he here, Jack would have mocked her for it; luckily, the nuisance was probably busy remembering heated moments with- Not that again, the vampire scolds herself. Thoughts are a strange thing.

She gazes at the child, not quite understanding what she means; "Who stole their hearts? And how? I see no gash, so it surely isn't the case of them being carved out." she questions softly, voicing her thoughts in a curious manner. She blinks, waiting for a response, mildly wondering if perhaps she should have put the matters differently - in a less descriptive manner. Old habits die hard, don't they.

"Their hearts has been stolen," the girl said, pointing at the lifeless entities lying on the ground.

The man turned his head and looked at the corpses again. Their hearts have been stolen? Now that just raises more questions and answeres none. He returned his gaze to the girl and looked at her with scrutinizing eyes.

"Please help me get them back. I can't do it... so I need your help."

A small part of the man's mind was not buying this at all. But he decided to give the child the benefit of doubt and pushed the feeling aside. He also noted the bluntness of the woman. He folded his arms and remained silent, so the girl could continue with her explanation.

The child looked up again at them, her eyes slightly swollen from rubbing it. She gazed at the woman then at the man then back at the woman again before she finally spoke, her speech often broken by the jerking of her shoulders - an after effect from sobbing.

"A-a really stro-ong w-witch. S-she barged int-to the c-castle." The child took a deep breath calming herself. After a few seconds, it seemed that the act was for naught. Nonetheless, she continued. "S-she s-stole t-their h-hearts, their so-souls." She took another breath and this time she spoke without the hiccups. "The way to stop it is..."

"To tie one person to another."

The little girl looked up to the driection right of the throne. Another woman, whose current appearance made her look like a ghost than a human, emerged from the small opening, just enough for one person to pass. As she walked towards them, she tied her long wispy jet black hair to each side revealing her childish looking face that was once covered by it. Her attire a white guard suit with tassels decorating it and epaulets on her shoulders. The child upon her arrival looked estatic, while the latter's expression remained stoic on the other hand.

Clearing her throat as she walked over to their direction, she continued the explanation. "Soulmates, as they are called, refers to people who are destined to meet." She stopped short in between the man and the woman and held her hand out. Opening her palms, one revealed a short, thin, ribbon-like object and on the other an item that resembled a watch. Glancing once at each person, she looked at her own palm and raised the item slightly as she explained. "This red string is used to tie people together. This can be stretched to an infinite length and cut to separate. However, if it connects a person to the wrong one... things could get messy." She paused giving them time to take in what she just said before proceeding. "This watch, a time keeper, has five hands. Each hand represents the number of times you can turn back time. You will set at which time you wish to return to in advance, a save point per se, for instances that a mistake has been made."

She closed her palms and placed her hands behind her back. A small pause, in which she thought was essential for the idea to be completely understood, before she gestured at the direction across her. A mirror-like space was set. The little girl who had stood beside it tapped its surface lightly, sending ripples and eventually changing the scene it showed. Instead of their reflection, an image of a steel gates and a wall emerged in the veiw. It was clearly day, from how bright it was and several pink petals fell to the ground at a rate of 5 centimeters per second. Without giving them a chance to say anything, she spoke.

"You will each be given a string." She held out her arms and opened her palms to each of them. "But the time keeper will be in my care. The mission is to connect as many soulmates as you can and will end when the 5 saves are used up or when all the connections has been made." Another pause, for her to take a deep breath, and spoke again. "I am accompanying you as your guide. Any questions before we proceed?"

Angelica blinked, and then blinked again. She accepted the string, then looked at the two females. She let her sharp, pearl-white fangs show for a second, as she smiled at them. "A few..." she responded, after being served a crazy story about witches and stolen souls. Being a vampire, who pretty much had the native capability of seducing and thus stealing, somewhat, the hearts of men and women alike, it didn't seem that impossible to believe. However...

"How will we know who is a soulmate to who? How can we know you are trustworthy? And more importantly, I must say I cannot walk in broad daylight." she quietly asked and informed, looking at the child, then at the new woman in guard clothes, and then back to the child. Her tone was soft, and as weird as the situation was, Angelica understood three things; she was clearly in a different world, the girl was surely something akin to a Cupid, and she needed help. She also understood she was quite insane for accepting silently to help out, but that was old news - considering she married a Lycan while being a Nosferatu. Jack would definitely laugh his ass off, she decided, and almost smiled at the thought of kicking his shins to shut him up.

The child was stuttering, she tried to calm herself but ultimately failed. The man put great effort into understanding the child's words. She was talking about stolen hearts and evil witches, just like the stories he used to hear as a child.

Things got more complicated when another woman arrived. The man eyed the new arrival suspiciously when she continued explaining. She went on about love, soul mates, destiny, helping her and the most disturbing part - the way he was supposed to help her. He grasped most of the story, but love affairs weren't his forte. Hell, he hasn't event thought of love since his 16 birthday, most of the time he was rotting in prison and planning vengeance. And his female companion made some good points, except the part where she isn't able to walk in broad daylight. So, when she offered him a ribbon, he didn't accept it and and turned to look at the shimmering portal. "Give me a good reason why I should help you." His words came out harsh and cold, tough not intentionally. The time spent in prison changed more than his appearance. It was the survival of the fittest, the toughest, the meanest and the slickest

The woman in military closed her eyes and crossed her arms as she listened to the woman's concerns. She nodded her head on the first question, seeing as how she had forgotten to explain that part. She was a little troubled at the second question and finally opened her eyes and turned to the little girl after the third. Still, the dark haired woman answered her questions in the same order that she asked.

"We cannot really tell who is a soulmate to who until only after the red lace is tied to their pinky finger which will glow slightly when it is correct." The military woman paused slightly, closed her eyes and furrowed her brows before opening them again. "This is a really tedious job as the only way to do it is to befriend the targets. Even I do not know of the outcome, but you may seek me for advice."

The black haired woman paused to catch her breath before she continued. "It would be wiser to trust, as your safety and knowledge for this task would be provided." Looking at the sinister looking man, she thought it was best to answer his question at this time. "While I do not know what will be your motivation, there is a reward which is determined by the how many pairs had been connected, correctly."

Walking over to where the child stood, the younger gave a small amulet to the older one. walking back to the lady, she handed the item. "This may temporarily shield you against the sunlight, as long as you carry it around you."

Taking a step back so she would have an equal view of the two, she tilted her head slightly before speaking. "Anymore questions?"

Angelica nodded thoughtfully. She accepted the amulet with a smile, placing it around her neck and tying the ribbon at the back into a bow. Befriend the humans, she says. Well, that is easy when you're an illusionist and a charmer. The Madame grins sightly. "No, I don't have any other question to ask." she announces softly, looking from the guard to the child and giving a friendly smile. Then, she looks at the rugged man. "Although my to-be companion seems slightly skeptical at the prospect of fulfilling your request."

While he didn't care about a rewards, there was one thing nagging him: lack of information. If one has the power to rip you out of your time and place you somewhere else, then what would stop them from send you tumbling down from a mountain. The man grimaced at that thought. Falling down from a mountain was clearly not on his top three things to do list. The safest way was to just accept her offer.

Unsmiling, the black haired woman nodded her head at the two before turning around to face the little girl. The latter spoke in a different language, sounding as if she was reiterating instructions. The woman looked at them once more before walking over next to the throne.

"We will also guarantee your safe return when this mission is over," the dark haired woman spoke as she turned around and gesture for them to come closer.

Behind the throne was a mirror-like object in which it showed not their reflection. Beyond was an room filled with stacks of papers on tables formed neatly. The windows hinted that the sun was just about to rise. The place seemed unable to match the grandeur of the palace.

"Now, follow or stay. It will be your own choice."

And with that, she stepped forward and went into the place beyond the mirror.

The little exchange the little girl and woman had, was left unnoticed by Goethe.

The woman caught his attention again, when she moved towards the throne beckoned them to come closer. The only thing indicating the man's surprise was a raised eyebrow at the mirror like object. "No reflection......Interesting". The room beyond it was filled with mountains of paper. He tilted his head out of reflex.

The man glanced at his "companion" and without further ado, strode forward and went into the place beyond the mirror.

The vampire followed after the strange man, a step behind, then at his side, then before him. She begun to hum an old tune from the days in Babylon, wincing unseen at the lack of roughness her voice should have had to do it correctly. Her gray, rainy eyes were dulled out even more than usually; hiding her thoughts in a figurative pocket.

Although the whimsical Lady wouldn't admit it, she was unnerved. But then again, adventures that made your flesh be ghosted with goosebumps were always the best.

She let the man pass first into the chamber beyond the mirror, not trusting what she would be met with. She wanted to help the child, she really did - but monsters and beasts tend to conceal behind innocent faces. You can never be too cautious.

As he passed safely through the glass, Angelica followed his example, the tune she hummed dying on her lips.

There was nothing dramatic in the transportation from the heavily decorated throne room to the place beyond the mirror. It was simply as if one had just simply walked through a doorway. Glancing back at the mirror, it merely showed the reflection on the room as if it hadn't served as a gateway from one world to another.

The woman was once clad in a military uniform was now dressed in a lab coat over a matching pair of plain blouse and slacks. Fixing her thin rimmed glasses, she did a quick scan of the room and sighed in relief that they had arrived as planned - early in the moning where the place would still be deserted. Turning around, she nodded her head as the two had followed behind her despite giving them a chance to stay back.

There was a change in them, however. Their physical appearance had been turned back to the time when they were in their teens - 16 years old, as her instructions specified. They were dressed in matching uniforms - pristine white upper, sky blue slacks and skirt with the same colored necktie. Before they could voice any complaints, she took the opportunity to explain their situation.

"This place is from a separate dimension from which the throne room exists. Familiar or not it maybe to you, I have no idea, but it is essential that we adapt to this world standards. To that effect, your physical appearance have been adjusted to maximize your reach to our targets, the students of this school, in which you two are going to be a part of them."

She paused to look around, keeping alert for anyone who might enter the room all of a sudden. A few papers on some tables sounded as a soft gust of air that breezed through from the slightly opened window, opposite from where they were standing. She glanced up at the wall clock before turning her attention back to them.

"Even with that, your current capabilities — mental and physical — are not changed."

She took a deep breath and waited for their reaction.

The transition was...well....there was no transition. It felt just like walking through a open door. No dizziness, no discomfort. Furthermore, the mirror was a mirror again. "Well, that is convenient, could use one of these mirrors myself." After the amazement of the transportation wore off, he took notice of his surrounding and the woman. The roomed smelled of paper and a mix of morning air.

The woman seemed to have a change of attire somehow. He wasn't even going to think about it, lest he want a headache. He listened attentively to the woman, but lost it when she mentioned some thing about change in physical appearance. An eyebrow rose. "Has the woman gone in..." Suddenly he felt uncomfortable, then he noticed that he too had a change of clothing. He looked at his now small, soft hands. He needn't think further, his appearance had changed. He clenched his fists, knuckles white and took a few deep breaths in and out. His teacher always thought him to be in control, there was a reason for it, for a successful infiltration. But he couldn't stop the room's temperature from dropping a few degrees. When he regained substantial self-control, he looked at his "companion" who suffered the same fate. The only thing he could do, was scowl.

"Wonderful." He exclaimed.

His eye twitched after hearing his own voice. As much as he remembered, his voice was raspy and it had a cold edge. But this was just disgruntling. "Stay calm", he reminded himself. He swallowed the rising bile and continued. "Let us not stand on ceremony, who are the targets and when can we start."

Angelica felt...odd. And sleepy. And then she remembered why, exactly. Well, shit. She twirled on her heels, glancing at her reflection in the mirror behind them - that was a gateway mere seconds ago. She found a face she forgotten she used to posses staring back at her. Long black hair and nearly Grecian skin coupled with bright sapphire eyes composed her expressionless reflection.

The vampire pouted, before closing her eyes. Her image morphed into a more youthful version of her usual appearance - she kept her eyes colored blue, however. She twirled again, considering keeping the skirt once she was free to go home. She listened to her companion speak, and bit back a giggle. Angelica peered at the woman who was to serve as a guide. "Teenagers? We have to help teenagers with love problems? That's..."

"Simply put, you are going to be match making," she replied with a small nod of her head.

The woman heaved a soft sigh, wondering if the two were actually willing to go along with the plan despite the oddity of their circumstance or they were simply doing it because there was no other choice presented. Even with their apparent display to cooperate, she wasn't entirely sure if she could trust them completely. Nonetheless, she continued.

"First things first. This is Asobi Academy, and I am working as a biology teacher here. I am—"

The woman was cut off by the loud bang of the door opening. She quickly spun around, just in time before a female student had dashed through and crashed into her.

"Miss Frei! You're back!" the student squealed, as she hugged the teacher.

Another woman clad in the same white coat stood by the door accompanied by a middle aged man wearing glasses. The woman brushed her cream colored hair aside as she shot Frei an apologetic look while the man put on a pleasant smile, his eyes becoming mere slits.

"She was persistent to know when you'd be back," the other woman explained.

The three noticed the two new students and smiled as if in welcome. It was the man who first spoke up.

"New students when the year's almost over? I guess unexpected things always happen, huh?"

"Don't make it sound like it strange things always happen!"

"It doesn't?!"

"I'm Xin Fu! Nice to meet you!" the student greeted the other two with much enthusiasm as she detached herself from Frei. "Would you like a tour around the school?"

Angelica laughed at the notion. It wouldn't be the first or the last time she found herself in such a situation - the gods knew how many times she had been put in such a situation. But...she wasn't sure how well exactly will she do.

The following commotion after the woman had attempted (and failed to finish) an introduction made the vampire blink in surprise. Xin Fu... she rolled the name around her head. Was it a multi-cultural academy? Did everyone have Asian names? She just died to know!

She smiled, unsurely, at the female student. She bowed in greeting to the trio, almost fully, from the waist. "Pleased to meet you. A tour would be nice..."

The ma......boy gritted his teeth. The interference was uncalled-for. Just when he was going to get the much needed information, some people decided to barge in and hinder the exchange. Why, if it were back home, he would have blasted them to oblivion already. But he wasn't and he was not about to rid himself of the only way back home and not to mention the commotion it may cause.

He should have tuned out at that point when the senseless babbling started, but by then it was already too late. Xin Fu. The boy's eye twitched. Seems like he is in a really weird place. They might as well be speaking in jiberish, but thank the god out there that they didn't. He wouldn't live it through.

He gave the best fake smile he could. "Indeed, a tour would be....very pleasant, but I would like to finish the conversation with...the teacher here first."

The delight was written clearly on Xin Fu's face as the new students obliged to her suggestion. She looked up at the biology teacher as if asking her permission to take the two out of the faculty office, in which the latter merely gave small smile.

"I am Miss Friederike or Miss Frei, whichever is more convenient to you," she continued from where she left off from earlier. She turned sideways slightly and gestured at the other two. "She is Miss Aoi, school nurse and Mr. Ralph, history teacher and your class adviser."

As their names were introduced, the woman gave a small bow and the man waved his hand. Frei just hoped they understood how a class works. She had no idea where they had come from, and sure enough, they couldn't continue their discussion from earlier in front of all the others there. Still, she continued to speak as if these thoughts were not bothering her.

"Luckily, today is the start that everyone is preparing for the festival so classes are suspended to let the students practice or make their props and such. I suppose Xin would explain it in detail. If you ever need me, I will be here or at the biology room."

"Shouldn't their questions be addressed to me instead because I'm their class adviser?"

"Don't be silly! They met Frei first so they're inclined to trust her more than you!"

"Shall we go now? Shall we? Shall we?"

He gave a curt nod to the newcomers, to show that he noticed their existence. Hmph. All that etiquette his mother thought him didn't fall on deaf ears it seems.

He would have liked to continue the discussion from before, but it seemed it was impossible now that they have got company. As infuriating it was to be kept in the dark, he kept his calm. He didn't know if this Miss Aoi and Mr. Ralph were aware of the woman's, no, Miss Frei's plan or not, but he wasn't going to take chances and arouse suspicion. So he decided to keep his mouth shut for now, but he would certainly return later.

The idea of a tour didn't sound that bad. He would get to learn the layout of the building and the area he was in. Furthermore, it sounded better than troding alone through the unknown corridors. If the academy was as big as one back home, then he would get lost pretty quickly. The child seemed happy at the thought of giving the tour. Too happy for his liking, but he would bear with it. He could probably do that.

He turned to the child. "Please, lead the way," he said while indicating at the door.

Angelica's keen eyes scanned the teacher duo with hidden interest. She sniffed the air, unnoticeable, tasting and memorizing their scents. Inwards, she grinned largely at the harmonization that existed between the man's distinct, forest smell and the woman's more floral, reserved one. They completed eachother. Maybe I can matchmake these two, too.

Her eyes lingered for a second. They'd look good together.

Playing the shy card, she nodded her agreement to her impromptu companion's suggestion. The cheerful disposition of the girl greatly contrasted to most people she knew. The vampire wondered briefly if the girl suffered from any sort of ADHD or if she ate too much sugar.

"Oh, oh! Great! Let's go!' Xin exclaimed when the two had finally agreed to go with her.

Frei glanced up at the wall clock. She noted that it was about time that most students are arriving at school. In half an hour, homeroom would start and the they needed to be in class by that time. Before she could tell them, Ralph had spoke up first.

"Not so fast Xin. They have to be at my class when the bell rings. They have to be introduced to their new classmates, then you can take them for another tour."

With a quick salute, the energetic girl responded, "Aye, aye, sir!"

Xin headed towards the door in a half-walj, half-jog pace. Before disappeaeing beyond the doorway, she gestured at the two to follow her.

"Have fun on the tour!" Aoi added.

At the hallway, Xin was whistling nonchalantly while wondering which route they would take. Having an idea on how to decide, she walked to the center of the hall, did a spin and a small leap.

"Ha! This way it is!" she exclaimed and looked back at the two new students. "Come, come. Oh, and I haven't gotten your names yet."

Angelica silently nodded her head to the teacher, to the nurse and to their guide, her now-sapphire eyes lingering on the latter with a silent promise that the discussion had yet to be over, and then exited the large room. She followed behind the female student that had offered herself as a tour guide around the place.

Eyes blinking owlishly, she took in her surroundings, absorbing and doing her best to memorize even the smallest, unimportant details. Her steps halted when the hyperactive girl displayed an unusual method of picking which direction to go to. The snow-haired lady held back a chuckle. "My name is Angelica Hylth. It is a pleasure to meet you, miss Fu."

He barely managed to hold back a grimace at the girls antics. The thought alone, that somebody has to deal with her every single day was maddening. When girl almost leaped towards the door, he slowly brought his hand to his temple, already expecting the coming headache. Maybe taking the tour wasn't the best idea. After a moment of contemplation he strode after the two.

He kept a comfortable distance away from the two as they went through the hall. He paid close attention to his surrounding - the inner structure of the building, what material it is made out of and the probable size academy. He was too busy with his own thoughts that he didn't notice the exchange.

"Oh! Pretty name! Nice to meet you, Angelica," Xin energetically responded. "Just call me Xin."

Despite her rather enthusiastic attitude, the tour guide walked in a rather normal pace, intertwining her fingers behind her. She often glanced around as they walked, staring at the white-washed walls but her attention mostly wandered on the view outside the window where they were overlooking the school entrance grounds.

From the gates, a wide brick walkway designed with the school's logo could be viewed clearly from the second floor. Students were coming in, some in pairs, some in groups and some are walking alone. On each side of the walkway were small parks, evidently well maintained.

Xin waited for the other transferee to answer, yet his self introduction never came. She concluded that he was simply being shy, and smiled to herself. Just as she was about to speak up again, music could be faintly heard. Quickly distracted, the tour guide went to the nearest door, a few steps away from where they had been.

"This is the 2nd music room," she spoke to the two. "I'm going to see who's playing."

Without thinking that she could disturb anyone who was inside, she opened the door leading to a small room enough to fit a grand piano and a dozen people. However, at this particular time only the one playing the instrument was occupying it. He had glanced at their direction for a second but continued to play.

"Andy!" the tour guide called and clapped her hands as soon as the pianist finished playing. "Awesome as always!"

"Xin," he grinned. "Full of energy as usual. New friends?"

Andy stood up from the grand piano and smiled at the two new faces. He waved his hand at them, while the other one was resting on the piano keys. With a glance, Xin read "Pathetique" from the music sheet on the piano.

"I'm Andrei," he introduced himself as he stopped waving and placed his hand on Xin's head. He grinned widely at The tour guide as he ruffled her ivory colored hair before looking up at the two again. "I'm guessing that Xin is taking you to see the school facilities?"
