Yea, writing as a job is way harder than writing as a hobby. Because you have to be able to sell it. On the other hand, seeing the stuff, original work or fanfiction, that people read and pay for makes you think otherwise.
Yea, it is kinda hard to set a schedule with everyone busy with work and other stuff. Need to find a time that is good for everyone, but on the other hard, if it takes too long to set a schedule or for the next session, people can lose interest sadly.
Oh, nice. Good luck with that. Hope it is fun.
A DM with experience makes things easier,, but on the other hand, if there is still too much paperwork and no fun, people can still get frustrated and bored.
Do you already know what it is going to be about and what will/can you make?
Yea, even if you made a new one, with the dead state of rp on MAL, there are high chances that not enough people will join and it dying fast.
Yea, there is barely any RP left on MAL.
Tried to get into D&D, but all those rules with god knows how many volumes to its name, each on the order of a few hundred pages and simply creating a character taking more than 2 hours to make with all the skills, abilities and dice rolling that goes into it made things awfully complicated and too much of a hassle. So I dipped put of that fast, haha.
That is good to hear. I am doing fine, can't complain.
Yes. I do remember you, Khrym. How could I forget all the fun we had and the questionable RP in an anime forum. The only thing I don't remember is my password.
Its not like it seems, the mechanics and calculations are mainly used by the admins only if necessary, such as circumstance that needs unbiased and reasonable judgement. But players are more into writing story together. We need more people, and it would be great if person is of RPing experience such as yourself could join the RP. I promise you its not difficult and doesnt take a lot of time to begin RPing there.
Where I've been? Well, 2 years mandatory military service, finishing uni, work, forgetting my MAL password and recovery e-mail, forgetting that I contacted MAL admins to get my account back. But I finally got my account back, yaaay!
Damn. You should definitely start your own arms race.

Writing exercises? For hobby or something else?
Nice, that is great. You even got to skip the character creation. I have never heard of Curse of Strahd, but seems interesting.
Hahaha! What places are you visiting and looking at to see sexual RP?
