Being pushed by management or private sponsor is pretty normal for popular idols. The only problem here is that Zodiac is involved, which means there's more to it than simply pushing Chieri's idol career. Knowing her father, she knows she's being used. Also, congratulations to Mimori in getting in the top ten. I'm excited to know who the understudies will be next on the seat. I can hardly wait for the subs. | Mimori deserved a spot in the top more than all of the understudies for sure. She's always the most stable and extremely optimistic. I don't think it'll happen, but it would be cool to see how everyone reacts, if Zodiac hacked the results and makes Chieri #1. Everyone would go crazy, and fans would riot xD. |

| Def intense near the end, the general elections always tend to be so :P It really must be nerve wrecking for the actual AKB members. Anyways, congrats to Mimori! I would have liked to have Kanata, Nagisa and Chieri to rank but itd make more sense if the successors filled up the rest of the spots! Hopefully Yuko gets her #1 spot and Takamina gets a high ranking!!! Can't wait till next week! |

I was so friggin hyped when they started announcing the results, my excitement went through the roof when Mimori was selected and just when I was preparing my body for even more epicness the episode ended. Why would you do this to me Kawamori? Why wasn't it one hour special? Also, the incoming drama with Chieri... I'm scared and really anxious. Ahh, I'm gonna marathon both season after Next Stage ends. |

Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
| I like to see Nagisa in it but I'd be shocked if Chieri's not in it. Nay, I'd be pissed if she isn't щ(ﾟДﾟщ) That last segment leading to the cliffhanger was a nice touch making me count the days left till the next episode. Gets better and better each episode, Shoji Kawamori always does good space opera work, I just hope he doesn't troll us or makes one of the character suffer (see Macross F Movie Ranka Lee). |

SHe deserved it. :D Anyways cool episodes. I wonder too what chieri talked about with tsubasa-san. And golly!! they pulled this "to be continued" ending again...like last time when they announced in the early results that chieri got 9th place. But now we know that it can change. I can't wait to hear who got what place. And like someone mentioned above that it was nice hearing the original ending theme song again. And well, it is the understudy's specific song so there! :D yay next episode, please come faster! |

| FUCK YEAH! Go Mimori <3! It was such a great feeling to see her name get announced. I am so glad all of her positive energy and hard work paid off and she ended up ranking. Ahhh so this is what the General Election is all about, I can feel the intensity that's going on right now. The first season's OP and ED really are the best. They made this episode's ending truly epic and got me hella pumped up. And this episode's ED was really awesome. |

| Yes! I literally groaned in pleasure when the song from the first season started and became the credits song. Didn't expect it, I love this sort of thing. It provides even more of a link to the previous show. The first OP and ED's are really something special compared this one's. Love hearing and seeing Beginner again. It's such a powerful song with a stylish dance to boot. As well as the 1st ED song from the understudies. I want Nagisa to succeed in the elections. |
