It seems that the humans of the area are finally realizing that there is no other way but to fight and resist the invasion. |
| This was by far the worst episode yet, it was awful and downright nonsensical, from grandma's moronic actions with only the mom actually trying to stop her, to kappei defeating a fucking tank by throwing a stone at it then proceeding to destroy an army with said tank who was just sitting around doing nothing. Only 10 episodes in but this series is really bad even for its time, its really in the running to be tomino's worst work and that says alot for such a shotty director. |

| The balloon bit was another one of those "you'd never see this in western cartoons" moments. This anime is way darker than I was expecting, even knowing, going into it, that 70s super robot shows could be pretty dark. |
