THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
This episode was something of a disappointment.

First and foremost, all the hold house people are back together, and have a cute, happy gigantic meal and talk about rebuilding their POS tenement house while the rest of the world is suffering, starving, and amid an apocalypse. Real cool guys, glad you have so much food for yourselves, while everyone else in the town is living in a shelter and fighting over scraps. Likewise, who starts building a house while the sky is falling?!?

Secondly... no kidding, giant naked little girl wandering the town. How many naked children does this show need? I feel like at some point you hit your quota, even for the Japanese market!

The whole "Lets mercy kill our friend" thing was kind of cool, until go figure, moral enemy girl shows up with the deus ex monomakia so that they can all hold hands and make everything better.

This episode did everything in its power to ignore the fact that these characters are living in the end times, and that everything around them is going to hell in a hand basket.

it's episodes like these that ruin the show not because of a giant loli but because of really cheesyass overused lines

In a way I'm kinda dissappointed that Moe's life was saved by some convienent "antidote" cause it feels so generic. But at the same time I'm glad, not just because I really like Moe's character, but because I'd imagine Moe's mother would become the new mother psycho constantly trying to kill Marin.

and so far there are 3 things I'm sick of for this show: Naked lollis, Grieving mothers trying to justify killing a child, and Marin's over imagantive dream sequences.

I wish I could master shunkan ido like the lipstick in this show. One scene Marin has it, the next scene, its almost like she is a little girl who has no need for lipstick. It even spread to Moe-chan! Is lipstick a virus in this show?

I thought this show was gonna kill off Moe-chan to make Marin suffer. I still believe it will happen. I don't think this show has met its quota on Marin suffering yet. Marin really has grown as a character to be able to make these decisions. I credit Murder Mom for scaring her straight.

For what its worth, giants don't wear clothes. So Moe-chan being naked at least has some kind of pass in my eyes. I can only hope that is the reason the show made her naked. Any other option is too awful for me to accept.

The ending song was adorable. Moe-chan is my favorite character, the only innocent person in this show, give or take the people that died off screen this episode. Its nice to see she accepted her fate and was willing to die. Even her reaction to how things ended up was great. Kids do choose friends over family, sadly enough.

I guess that guy is back to being drunk again. I guess his sober self making a difference was a one and done.

Marin is fundamentally selfish, so I am ok with her celebrating her little bit of happiness. I'm sure they will find an unexpected way to make her suffer again soon enough.

Maybe its bcs I grew up with Sailor Moon, but all this nakedness doesnt irk me that much. Its just kinda weird: it doesnt feel like the usual fanservice, but theres rly no need for them to be naked. Maybe its supposed to show vunerability.
What I disliked in this one and the previous one was how the show deals with alcoholism. Everybody is so passive in relation to the guy drinking, I just want to slap him.
