Locking your brakes and turning like that won't make you go faster at all. First of all he will destroy his tyres very early by locking his brakes like that. What bullshit! WTF was with that way of turning? It seems that it also looked so ridiculous because of there little CG program that is quite archaic to say the list, not to mention that it can't even show the cars going fast lol. I wished they drew the cars instead of doing this ridiculous stuff. Anyway we are near the end so little to complain about it now but it looks even worse with this Formula cars than it looked with karts. |

Well, they made it clear that turning is slower than "normal" turning, but the whole point is to brake as late as possible and come out of the corner as fast as possible. He does this to achieve maximum average speed on track which is all that matters. And what comes to tyrewear, it's only 15-lap race so hard tyres like that should take it easily. Atleast water temperature seemed fine (around 90 celsius). It doesn't increase anything. If it did then everyone will just try to lose the brake point and miss the apex. Missing the racing line by braking late only makes you go slower. |
