| Well, that was a realy decent delinquent manga.. If you read shonan junai gumi or GTO(much more likely, considering the popularity) then you will see those are pretty similiar - lots of comedy and some nicely paced action. To be honest, it's very close to shonan junai gumi, it's pretty much similiar in most aspects, both about a delinquent duo, although the shonan junai gumi is more into the ecchi parts. Don't misunderstand, kyou kara ore wa was the original and I am quite sure some ideas from it were actually borrowed. The story was really enjoyable, the characters were also superb and enjoyable, I think I enjoyed the comedy part even more so than shonan junai gumi. Unlike most comedies this one actually makes you laugh from time to time, unlike most so called 'comedy' genre anime/manga series nowadays which rarely do more than put a smile on your face. If I had to pick weak points, it would be the fights(I felt they were displayed a bit too unrealistically or comical.. well, guess that's what most martial arts manga would be after you read Holyland) and probably the lack of brutality and lack of serious consequences after fights. Even though they are just young delinquents - I know people can go much worse than that despite the age. But considering that it's a shounen, I will let it by, I bet the limits on that are pretty harsh, would be realy amazing if this was actually a seinen. All in all this was enjoyable, if this was something made nowadays I would rate it 8, considering that most character types in this manga are the ones that are often overused nowadays, but since it can be called a classic - it gets a 9. I realy suggest it as a classic for enlightenment, I think quite a few themes in modern manga are origined from this manga. |
| Definitely the best Delinquent Manga i ever read i never was Bored through those 366 Chapters. I really loved the Relationship between them all and what i would love to see Mitsuhashi x Riko ending....but Sadly it ended still in an Awesome way |

| Real conclusion was chapter 365, but it's nice to see a bonus chapter. Pretty fun extra on Imai and Tanigawa. And my boy Imai actually got some respect from someone for once XD |
