| Awww Koyuki and Maho. I was annoyed that we didn't get to here all of FACE or see it played... but oh well. Chiba's karate was immense., really liking this series despite the art and animation sometimes being a bit hmmm. |

| What a crappy song...... Till now I was watching the anime and pretending their songs were good simply because plotwise they're supposed to be good. But really, each and everyone is total crap and Face is even worse. I skipped forward while he was singing, and it made the episode more pleasant. From now on I'll be skipping every song they play and I guess I will just watch only half of the series. When I was thinking that Chiba had no flow, no rhyme or anything; there comes Koyuki who's all that and a pain to listen to as well... |

| DUUUUUUUDE!!! Chiba kicked some ass in this ep! I'm just so glad that bastard got his ass kicked for once he was pissing me off! But to be honest for what i heard i'm not to fond of "Face" it's different but i liked more their Rage Against the Machine sound idk :l maybe my opinion will change later on. PS. is it just me or did Tanaka's voice sounded better in the pool episode??? i watching the english dub btw.. |

| This episode was perfect. We get to see them play finally, Chiba is no longer the lead vocals, and that asshole gets what was coming to him. Seriously this episode was the exact thing I wanted. |

| It takes a lot of guts to get up there and sing in front of people your first time. I was scared to death. Luckily people yelled and clapped when he was done, and same for me. I don't think I would have ever tried to sing in front of people again, if it wasn't a positive reaction from the audience. Being asked to join a band, you have played with, is great for your confidence. We are bound to see Tanaka grow even more thanks to this. |

Try to sing like a pro with no singing experience. Exactly. I don't think the songs are crap, but they are learning as they write & play. It's something that takes time. If they wrote amazing music write out of the gate, it would be BS. I'm also wondering if it was the Japanese or English songs that were so awful? I heard the English, and they weren't that bad. They aren't amazing, but they shouldn't be. I can tell you from experience that it takes a while before you write songs that are better than your first songs. Trying to keep the band together takes a lot more effort than most people realize. As you become a better musician, your song writing skills also get better, or should. |

Glad to see Tanaka stand up to him & Chiba stand up for Tanaka and whip that bully's a$$. I love seeing bullies get what they deserve. The guitar player of my band, back then, didn't want to fight this bully that hung around our parties and gigs. He tried to walk away but the bully kept calling him out, in front of a ton of people we knew at the party. So my friend took of his Ibanez jacket and fought the bully. He also beat the bully, bad, in front of the people the bully was trying to show off for. Then the cops showed up and broke it up. It was great. |

| I'm so glad they didn't pull out another Mr. Miyagi student crap. His friends helped him end the battle, however, the hardest part was when Koyuki stood up for himself when it really 'mattered'. Koyuki isn't ready to fight his own battles, but he's getting there very quickly and he has Chiba as a role model in that regard. The friends were positive reinforcement but ultimately this was a step only he could do himself. It's depressing, it's meant to be, but the alternative is continually being abused. But that's just the one rational part. That's not the whole picture. I dare say, it's the feeble minded 'conservative' approach that looks good on face value and appeals to those who align themselves with guts and emotion. But is the world really that simple? You need only look at the animal kingdom to see that it is not. Bullies are cowards, they can't do anything without their numbers, whether it be overwhelming an alpha male, or an alpha male using his lackeys to maintain his position. I think it's really funny when people insult victims of bullying and say "why be a pussy" and "you deserved it" But when it comes to sensitive issues like marital abuse, domestic violence, suddenly crickets are chirping. And hypocrisy pervades the air. Unfortunately as much as I want this theme to end, it won't, this bullying issue and arseholes being arseholes will continue long after this episode. Something tells me Chiba is going to get hurt real bad. |

| Finally after about 8 chapters we see koyuki and beck in action together I think the slice of life and music elements must have been interspersed but well the series seems more entertaining than it was at the beginning. |

| YES! YES! Finally someone is in the right place at the right moment to stand up against a bully, and Koyuki himself tried to have a revenge against him on his own. Before, their first performance with the new lineup was a relatable one for both good and bad understandable reasons. |

That spinning kick was a long time coming. A lot of characters in this anime just starting shit for no reason at all and getting away with it, so it was satisfying to see. Koyuki finally tried fighting back as well, even if he was punching above his weight class. Also, I think Koyuki should just stick to the guitar, lol. His singing isn't spectacular. |
