The book that "Horizon" reads... rocky and weird.

lol @ Aoi's freedomness when that guy's speech!! Hmmm.... old robot, as a wall!!

Maid robot's attack as a kind of start of fight, and Witches vs. Gundam suit-like.. nice battle. Yuri kiss after winning?!

The three girls "police" team's turn!!

The fight was totally orgasmic and so will the yuri kiss be in a GIF. My first excitement in screaming YEAH TAKE THAT TESTAMENT UNION! Is in the following,

Asama in her outfit and that shot! No words can describe the adrenaline rush of that first one along with Asama’s way in the spoiler
it was pretty EPIC itself with her armour. It was the best episode although not sure of its impact since the first episode of the fight Futayo's father was the initial start up of fights that were EPIC! This one was EPIC too but it seems there was this touch somewhat missing maybe the talking too much somehow. Regardless my favourite second part is the following,

If you include with that the free fan service included with it in the spoiler
you can see partially Margot/Malga bodies. That was pretty neat of Mahou Shoujo transformations.

Furthermore the kiss in the spoiler
proves beyond anything that Margot/Malga have a lesbian relationship between themselves.

What really made me realize this is more serious than I though is in the spoiler
that blood is no mistake. More later.

BTW Obligatory Yuri kiss GIF in the spoiler
for now.

Eat that! People who says this is a bad show...

Too many awesome to list in this episode. Gotta love any single one of the cast to death... Adele is unresistingly adorable as Musashi's tanker, Asama's ZUDON is just pure jaw-dropping, can forget about Neishinbara' speech too. But afterall, my body is still not ready for Gacchan and Margot's gold awesome, that scene at the en just made me like a 4 years old girl on Christmas, lolol...

Seriously, they should use mobile tank ,they are too faithful into History reproduction lol

The black magician(Schwarzwald floren) is minus energy and the white magician(weiss floren) is positive energy.Notice that their wing is different color to their cloth .My poor translation lol.

Yes! ACTION TIME! Still the one Futayo's father is #1, I guess this is #2 after all but in action it far out beats any of them as #2. Remains to see how things go with War of God and Neito.

F********K now I need to say. Next episode now! I want it this time now! I don't want to wait! Well it sucks but I must. Damn! Next episode needs to come now! Seriously. Neito!

I have a quesion! In an earlier episode, they had 3 matches, and 2/3 wins would determine whether or not they would rescue Horizon. Was there a reason why they couldn't rescue her right away without having those matches? It felt like a filler to me but most likely I was just confused by how the plot was flowing.

Well they were unsure whether or not they should rescue Horizon because of the result of war and the consequences associated with said war. One consequence would be, as Shirojiro Bertoni, the money grubbing student council treasurer, mentioned, the inability to feed the residents.

TL;DR they didn't know if the pros outweighed the cons of rescuing Horizon but this issue was resolved with the 3 matches

They had to have those three matches to officially convince the whole Musashi (that flying city) to fight along with Toori as the chancellor of the Union. If they didn't do this, it basically saying Toori (and prob just about 20 more people) had to fight the world himself. Therefore he had to.

Shirojiro vs the Mechanic Club of Musashi for transporting issues while fighting against the Testament Union. Also to show the economy benefits from the mission.

Suzu vs Neito to convince the Musashi royalty to side with the student, hence gain more supports (troops, money, moral, etc).

Toori vs Masazumi, to show the rest of Musashi about the political benefits of rescuing Horizon.

The extra Kimi vs Futayo was just a personal challenge from the king, to see if the students have what it takes to fight the world. Also acted as tiebreaker.

As most, they need Musashi to act as their base after all. To do that, they need to turn Musashi against the Union (before, Musashi was under Union's control), or they can't do anything. (else they would be put in the prison for treason).

All of those acted as a formal Dispute between Students and the City. Think of it like passing the bills in the government.

noone can say otherwise
yeh yeh you have to have some background knowledge but that doesnt cut it... for those new to this series it was lacking
and now they thrown in action...yeh i like action and all but this anime is still :/

i was really looking forward to this series since it was confirmed but its just disappointing to me
if anyone is bothered, can you plz explain to me what is so attractive about this anime? (and dont say "fanservice" thats one thing that annoyed me about this anime)

Well, if all the action didn't do you justice, then that's too bad...

I did find the setting and story confusing as first. But after rewatching the whole thing again, I can really appreciate the story and characters. One of the biggest charm points of Horizon is its awesome cast, there's no one that had screentime is useless.

To remind you, this season of Horizon is just the prologue of the whole story, meaning even after 12 episodes, you won't get to know anything just yet. Heck, are you even aware that after 10 episodes, it's still been just 2 days in the anime? Ten episodes to to tell a 2-day story...

I don't know if you really get the picture of Horizon after watching... Most of the people I know that GET the picture wouldn't say it's boring or bad. If you understand the anime and simply just don't like it... Again, it's too bad, just not you cup of tea. (Like Gundam has never been mine).

This is like asking people to go to war without proper discussion when human life is involve. If there are people who disagree with the rescue, they might not join the fight. One guy turn their back toward their leader may lead to ALL people turning their back toward their leader.

Try to exert more effort into watching Horizon.
Do research, gather information, watch it again if necessary.

This anime series is not for those who are not used to thinking or analyzing the concepts.
And we need more anime series like this. The industry is too saturated with series that show too much and leave little to the imagination.

simply put this show is not for casual, "hey i'll watch it after a long day of work while my brain is dead" type of audience.

Going through discussion forums really help to build on the big picture, and make you think of the little infos you might have missed in the episode. Too many people expect the information to be spoon fed when watching anime. Now not saying that the way they deliver the narrative here is great, but the story is sound while the characters are interesting enough to keep me highly engaged.

Question, how many do you think came into this series expecting jiggle and torn clothings, and get disappointed that this series is wordy?

To begin with, Horizon was meant to be for novel's readers, hence the not-so-great delivery in the beginning to focus on the visual aspect of the anime. But it has been very faithful to novel as far as I know, that's why, like reading a novel, you will get the picture eventually, not right at the first sentence.

I can tell from watching that lots of effect and love was poured into this show looking at the characters. Heck, even the original author gets involved a lot with the anime production (apparently, he helped storyboarding lots of sequence in the show, he even choreographed Kimi's dance sequence). Therefore, the characters in Horizon are really polished even in a very short screentime, which really earns my respect.

I think the reason lots of people thumbed down this show is that they think great plot + mainstream design doesn't work together. People looking for plot don't expect Horizon to have it from that kind of design. And people who like the design get thrown off by the setting bombardment. That's really a shame though...

Totally, it's like a double edged blade. Go on one side too much and you get cut and go to the other side and you get cut but stay in the middle and both blades you will not get cut from.

In other words it's what you said, start hating one part while liking the other and a drop will be eventual. While balancing out in the middle will ensure max fun in enjoying both.

It is recommended to do some research. Sadly I did not have time to contribute but MorningGlory does Excellent job! even points to site where the info is. I LOVE YOU MAN! Seriously, I only try to provide the graphics that make this series really EPIC. Such as the yuri kiss. Notice it's done rather passionately considering in one saved the other's life.

Bet anything there will be some hot bed action between those 2 after the fight.

Also excellent info for Kimi's dance because I loved it and the drama too. Did the creator also help in that? It was superbly done! TT_TT tears of manhood for Toori on that one.

I'm so glad this show proved me wrong and didn't turn into a second Majikoi! Well, there's still the problem of all the huge boobs that make it impossible to take any of the female character seriously but I can look past that if it continues to develop it's large cast while giving us creative and entertaining action scenes. I must say, I was kinda hoping for Toori to get shot (I find him horribly annoying). Althought, I prefer an hyperactive pervert as a main character more then a boring and plain one (I'm talking to you Shu from Guilty Crown). In conclusion, Horizon is the "nice surprise" of the season. It's not perfect but it sure is entertaining and getting better every week. Oh, I also liked that they didn't beat around the bush and just went with the rescuing Horizon now! I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm kind of hoping for a second season now :S
