| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I wish I had an inkling of imagination of what Chirico's plan is, does it involve him being jerk? Still he could have killed Shako but he choose to disable him with shots in the thigh and shoulder, so at least that's something... Is it just me or is Rochina missing the entire episode? I know he's hiding somewhere along the ship but what's he up to? |

| Chirico descends even further to the dark side of the force. The package even includes evil smirks and twisted logic. I''m expecting an evil laugh for the next episode. Though Chirico is obviously plotting something. My guess is that he'll end up destroying Wiseman. Wiseman is a "rule-the-world" kind of villain, so he'll obviously die in the end. And, HEY, Shako serves some purpose! Looks like his character was created for the sole purpose of destroying the defense system. It's the final showdown and Chirico needs some asses to kick. It just wouldn't work if some lame pink light just killed everything in sight. Though is he really going up against hundreds of ATs by himself? Maybe Fyanna will help. I'm rooting for her, since she's been pretty useless this whole arc. The big climax is approaching and I just couldn't care less! ^_^ I just want this crappy arc to end. |
| Chirico has gone dark. At least he didn't kill Shako. I expected to get more pleasure out of seeing on of the Doobie twins bite the dust, but having 'dark' Chirico doing lessened the impact of it. |

| Is it just me, or did one of the Twins shots punch a hole in the main viewport? If so, then considering that the show tries to trend toward "hard" SF, you'd think they'd address that they should be venting atmosphere. |

| I would say Chirico is purposefully being wicked because Wiseman can see his every action. He can't be honest with his friends, and has to go as far as shooting Shako in order to gain God's trust. He'd need to trick him in order to be able to get close to God and kill him. I might be proven wrong in subsequential episodes, but that's my interpretation of what's happening as of now. |
