| It is just me? or are all the empty gaps that the movie left behind slowly being filled in by this manga? Loved the chapter... Love reaches beyond communication huh? but how long will it really last? I wonder if this manga will end the same way the movie did.... if so, i'd hate it :( Looking forward to chapter 6 !  |

| This chapter concludes, I assume (234 pages), the first volume of this manga, which covered about 2/3 of the story. This means that the last part of the movie will be extended to fit (at least) a full volume. Fingers crossed for a less open ending. ^_^ As for this chapter, didn't dislike it; but it was on the same level as the last, i.e., not particularly impressive and WAY far from the level of the first 3. |

| I liked this chapter in accordance with the rest of the manga, but considering the movie, it completely changes the original theme which I am not happy about. Hopefully it will still convey the same message at the end because that's what really set the movie apart. |

| Yes kinda strays from the original theme but keeps an important feature... Growing up, distance between dear friends... and sadness... sadness galore! On both Akari and Takaki sides... and lots of uneasiness from this Kanae girl side.... She really needs to make up her mind and then act the way it should be to turn the tides in her favour... Cause really she isn't going to date Toono that way... I mean... she's really straining it too much... taking too much time to confess her feelings and her real intentions... By the way reminds me of myself... well anyway she really needs to plan out the way to tell him that she really likes him and a way to make him forget and open up to her... unfortunately she doesn't really knows him and she can't do much in that sense... As for Takaki... it's such a pain to slowly lose contact with your friends... old old friends are really lost over the turn of time... I'm glad I keep seeing my dearest friends... Poor Takaki... he should really try to send the texts... just for the sake of writing them... and for recapturing or haste their encounter once again... That last extra was so... heart-wrecking... poor Akari... Signs, Green |

| I doubt Shinkai will change the ending.. but might put a finishing.. but still they won't be together as one.. but I hope they'll be friends still I thought this is the last chapter.. coz there's no 'publishing' after the title.. more chapters.. more sadness =D |

If the MC missed Akari so much, then he could have just visited her city once a month on a weekend or holiday rather than sending texts to an adress that doesn't exist. It's not like she's in North America or anything, like come on, wth is his problem. |
| Didn't watch the movie, and according to most of the users' opinions the manga is better... So to watch or not to watch it, that is the question. I guess I will. If the manga leaves that kind of impression on me, that is. |

| Really loving this manga. It fills in the holes that the anime couldn't, such as what happened to Akari (in detail) while Toono was depressed, couldn't forget her. It was bittersweet to see that Akari still remembered him too and still has lingering feelings, but they're slowly fading away... It's even sadder knowing the ending, unless it's changed :( Awesome volume. Can't wait to read more. |
