| This thread is CLOSED Happy 8th of March! (Women's Day) Well, in Eastern Europe, the 8th of March is a very important day (and in other countries too, but honestly, I don't remember all of them, sorry) - Women's Day. I'll be honest and say, that I can't say for sure for other countries, but where I come from, this day is just huge. Flower shops stock up more than ever, every shop you go, shops are filled with all sorts of presents for women, and it's more unusuall to see a man without a bouquet, a present, or a back with some sort of present than with. Now, I know it's not a world-wide celebration, but even if it's not celebrated in your country, tell your mother, or sister, or friend, or even teacher if you have to, "Happy 8th of March, it's Women's day today,". Trust me, they'll be very happy. Here in Kuroshitsuji Central, we also have a lot of women, and to all of them, let's wish a happy 8th of March! In particular, let's all remember the wonderfull Madame Red, (and let's not forget about Grell, too) They both deserve the spotlight today!  To request, reply with your name. | Name: GracefulDownfall Love the card^^ - Yeah, it doesn't seem to be such a big deal in most parts of the world. I go to an international school and the only ones who made a big deal out of it were Serbian students. We were actually pretty much the only ones who knew about it. This one American kid even tried to explain to me that it's national women's day. He said that they 'Don't have that in the States'. They do. WTH... It's kinda sad actually :/ Lol, sorry for rambling. It just really surprised me. |
