| Wow, another BS episode. Dunno why the frog man is back out of all the characters. Was cool to see Tofu back but it was obvious it was because the plot needed him to work. The ending didn't make much sense. It's nice that the last 2 episodes are going to be one arc. But I'm sad the journey's coming to an end prematurely, as the anime doesn't cover the manga completely :( |
| Hey the original post for this was made on my birthday in 2011, I have no memory of how that one went lol. And this one was pretty good, but unfortunately not a fitting one to be one of the final three episodes, they brought back yet another not great character with the Frog Hermit and really he had no reason to be there, they could have made a whole new character that wants to consume this dragon flesh but nah bring back the frog guy lol, I mean it’s cool he returned and all but this episode just didn’t really warrant him in particular. I did think the dragon stuff was cool, the visual of it rising out of the pond was pretty sick, but in the end it didn’t really amount to much other than that, it just flew off and that’s it, oh well. Best part of the episode by far tho was Tofu Sensei being a prominent character, he has severely lacked screentime not just in this last leg of the show, but the entire show in general, so I was happy he got at least one last moment in the spotlight, yeah he was mainly just used for the usual Kasumi making him stupid gag but I liked his moments of badassery, a shame we never got as much of him as we could have. |
