| Could Akira somehow have been saved if Kazuma was defeated by Ayase before that counter on her arm reached down to zero? (Such as perhaps doctors will actually help him if and only if Ayakse succeeded.) If not, then the whole purpose of that sequence was just silly. |

| Ah, poor Ayase. At least Kazuma bothered to remember her name before she died. And looks like Kazuma got his mojo back. And all it took as a cliche pep talk from his dead best friend. |
