| THIS IS AN MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- So....Ace is sentenced to death. Now we finally know what the "great event" is for which the fight between Ace and BB was the trigger. Theres going to be war. Garp also trying to keep the tiny tidbit to himself was interesting D:. It seems he knows Rayleigh alot. But the biggest thing is the execution of Ace and the war mentioned. There is going to be a lot of action. I wonder how Luffy/WB's reaction will be. |

| Holy fucking shit. I was on edge reading this entire chapter, expecting Luffy and co. to bust right into the auction and wreak havoc. And what does Oda decide to pull off? Ace's set execution!?!?!? My god, the world is starting to shift. And it seems Garp will be coming into the mix too, given the first few pages in the beginning of the chapter. I'm also curious as to why Hacchi seemed so depressed when Nami said she was going to buy Camie. I wonder if there is a hidden meaning behind it or maybe if there is something between Hacchi and Camie (other than the implied thought that they may be "together.") But yeah, DarkReaper, Whitebeard's reaction - along with Luffy's - is going to be huge. And really, you think Dragon is going to stand up for this!? This could be the perfect oppurtunity to introduce his presence into the story, though I feel that's an avenue Oda will save for a later date. Everyone converging on Groove 1. God damn, I cannot wait for the next chapter. |

I do agree as well that Dragon could possibly show up and help out Ace, since he is his son (at least that is what I think so far). Luffy most likely would get pissed off and march straight to Mariejoa and confront the Gorosei, lol. I doubt this would happen though, or would it... |

| How can you calm down after this? XD But yeah its not Dragon or Luffy who has to take responsibility now, its Whitebeard. He ignored every sign of Blackbeard's strength and even fought with Shanks over the matter. And i can only imagine the "incident" Involves Whitebeards full all out atack on "The holy land'", his death and the falling apart of the Whitebeard pirate crew. Dragon and co would use this to place a few of attacks and victory's too. Luffy, Rayleigh and co could also have some influence too since there's bound to be some problems for the world government in the Archipelago. And something i find interesting is that if you look at the way Garp acts now and the fact that we didn't see him interact with ace yet too could also tell us some more about the question if Ace and Luffy are brothers, half brothers or just grew up together... |

| this, this just what One Piece is all about. the upcoming events will be so fucking epic that words won't suffice. Ace's execution would completely plunge the Pirate World into chaos. I'm guessing that the other legend that Garp mentioned is Whitebeard. A man of his pride would not stand for this. If he does indeed head for Impel Down and raise hell against the WG, whoever is left standing would determine the course of the future. |

| Well I guess they'll give Ace a public execution so hey probably wont be at Impel Down anymore...But they'll do it somewhere safe and far from Whitebeard and Dragon. Luffy's paper pointed forward so i guess they'll still do it at the Holy land. Anyway i guess people like Mihawk, Kuma and Aokiji and maybe even Smoker just need to be there now. |

| I was re-reading the chapter and by the way, did anyone notice Doflamingo's sign at the auction: I don't know if it looks exactly like it - actually, there looks to be some subtle differences, but pretty close, eh? |

I noticed that as well. both Kidd (the crew member to Killer's right) and Law have a similar Jolly Roger. I think that's a symbol of the New Era that Doflamingo mentioned way back when. |

| Well i guess that it wouldn't be too weird that some pirates copy each other. I mean Luffy got the whole Strawhat thing from Shanks, so i would think that Law and Kidd have the same kind of idea's and morals that are behind the people behind the auction and Donflamingo have. |

Also, since the Marines are using Ace as a bait, they have to be really sure of themselves. That's going to be the greatest fight in the story of OP!!! 7 days of waiting... T_T |

Holly shit, I was just sitting there staring at the last page for like freaking 10 mins trying to undersntand what's going on. And here I went and thought Oda would just leave Ace's story to another arc or something. Man. So Ace's execution... does anyone else here thinks its going to be something extremely epic like Gol D Roger's? I really don't want Ace to die though :[ but maybe his death is something necessary to the plot? :\ (nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu~~ ;;) Also about Caimie, somehow I have the feelings that either Law, Kidd or a Tenryubito will buy her instead of Nami... sigh. x_x |

| This arc is going to be absolutely insane and you can sure as hell bet that Oda is going to bring in Dragon at some point. Dragon is already fighting against the World Government and now he is going to use the fiasco that will surround Ace's attempted execution to move in and take out some of the royal families. |

| I had already guessed that Whitebeard would declare war but Garp saying they will have to face two legends at the same time basically confirmed it for me. This is gonna be a huge arc. Or maybe the one after it. |
