| Somewhat feels like filler until Koū appear.. N appereantly those wall was an enemy base.. -10 ep before this journey end.. I got the feeling that this won't be heavy battle or drama 😑 while they still have a long way to go to their destination.. |

Coud is just fresh off being effortlessly annihilated by Rasati, who wasn't even reacting with Lillia at the time. "More powerful than any enemy we've faced before" my ass. The battle competence of characters is decided entirely by whether or not the narrative wants them to win, and is otherwise inconsistent and devoid of any coherency. It was a mistake to think Coud and Reverie had relationship growth. Early on it looked like they finally worked past their insecurities, but we're back to square one here. Reverie decided to become a drifter for no other reason than that Coud got an injury? He's been getting his ass kicked since he was introduced, so why was that head injury a sudden cause for concern? She was putting herself at risk and concerning everyone else on a passing whim, and barely resisted reuniting with Coud anyway, making her effort completely pointless. |
