On the DVD page for DVD 7 (http://www.angelbeats.jp/bd_dvd/pac07.html), which will include the unaired episode, a small banner was added. Inside, it has stated that the DVD special is entitled "Episode 13 Another Epilogue". The original Japanese text: 第13話アナザーエピローグ制作決定！！ TV放映版とは異なる第13話エピローグ部分（Cパート）を新たに制作！ BD&DVD第7巻に特典映像として収録します！！ また、10月末にはアナザーエピローグのキービジュアルを公開予定！！ English Translation: Episode 13 Another Epilogue Production Decision!! The episode 13 epilogue portion (Part C) seen differently from the TV telecast version is being newly produced! It will be included in the 7th BD&DVD as a special bonus animation!! Also, there will be the showing of the Key Visual of Another Epilogue at the end of October!! So, yeah, the special is NOT gonna be a compilation. I'm not sure where you got that news, but I believe it was just some idiot who jumped to conclusion at that point of time. It IS gonna be an epilogue, and most probably it will show the lives of the characters in the real world for a full 30 mins and hopefully more. |

Well, don't forget there was a recap at the end of CLANNAD ~After Story~ of the whole series (both seasons), but that was actually really good and nice and helped make the ending a lot clearer for me. But that was KyoAni, and CLANNAD was much longer than Angel Beats... anyway, if there is a compilation episode, hopefully it'll well-edited and have at least something added to it that wasn't in the series (like narration from one of the main characters or an extra scene or two on the end.) And if it's all new stuff then an epilogue when they're all...whatever happened to them at the end, then great, no problem XD |
