Should Dragon Ball Super continue with seasons or movies and why?

I say both, but if Toei wants to only focus on movies then I'm down since almost everyone says the Super movies are the best out of the Super series. Not only that, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero was a manga arc and Dragon Ball Super: Broly was a anime only arc until later down the line of the manga. I think it's more likely to get movies for now on, because people seem to love them more and they make big money with Super Hero getting in the top 10 highest grossing anime movies of all time. I hate how we're not going to get seasons anymore with Super, but if this means more Dragon Ball then I'm all for it.

How do y'all feel about this?

I’d prefer seasons I feel like the Moro and Granolah arcs would work better with seasons over movies a movie wouldn’t have time to cover it all

im fine with a new super movie every 4 years so by 2026 there might be a new dragon ball super movie again

I'd say seasonal. Dragon Ball is always a series that I said "What's gonna happen in the next episode?" in the end of every episode. But if Toei is gonna take the movies path I wouldn't be mad.

Seasons, they got plenty of content and can easily make super 2 from start to finish, besides they made a movie of what would qualify as the start of super 3 so if you ask me its over due

I think movies are probably the best route to go at this point. I would love for the Moro and Granolah arcs to be animated in the highest quality possible, and a movie pretty much guarantees that. Those particular arcs of Super also get fairly gory (for modern DB standards at least) and I think Toei will do them justice this way with less content restriction for films.

Yes, Super Broly is the greatest thing in this franchise. I really think we need more storytelling and art style like that movie. Dragon Ball Super should do what Dragon Ball does best great fights, storytelling, humor, character development, character driven stories, and most of all heart. We want to see more than our characters back on our screens, we want it to be like Dragon Ball. The sagas closest to this was Beerus, Future Trunks (even though the ending felt rushed and nothing like Dragon Ball), and Tournament Of Power.

both but I would like a seasonal or a long-running dbs adaptation. now they can adapt some few arc post tournaments but with the 2018 movie quality.
