Ye, this just feels like a bizarre collection of events coming together. Owen is also back but not how like he is normally.

Regarding the episode's strange events, this might all seem like one big buildup. Even though this has been a long journey for her, Akira better be ready for anything.

Owen having lost his memories as part of the bizarre wound, and even managing to remember the sequence of events when Nicholas was about to kill himself in suicide, it's more like the change in personality that superceded him to do this. And in return, the Umbra Volans of Omens bringing about the Festival for the undead, and with Oz still maintaining his work despite being a Northern wizard, the Northern group seems to be at the point of despair.

With the bird of Omen released, the strong wizards come out to fight against the undead, though Rutile soon finds the Moon Stone hidden within a child's stomach that Mithra hid, that the siblings try their best to save him out of harm's way. In the same manner that Mithra did live with the siblings' mother and her giving every bit of care for him, Mitile mistaking him for the wrongs he did, at least it's some form of rushed reprieve and resolution.

The battle against Nova still feels like it has aways to go...

So we got a undead raid with our pretty boys again fighting with each other. Sometime the show takes BL theme.

Mithra's just insensitive and we got Nova, the mastermind behind this whole undead festival I presume, and for some reason he wants to kill Mithra.

So much is going on, that it's rather hard to remember what happened last episode with whom. Not easy with this many MC's.

Words cannot express how much I liked this ep, the payoff of finally finally feeling like all my favourite scenes were done justice, the pacing – though rushed in the attempt to cram the ENTIRE climax of MS1 in two eps – was a lot smoother, and oh my gosh the entire budget went into animating Rutile going off on Mithra he was so beautiful I cried???

First off, oh my god kizu!Owen you are everything to me, as always Asanuma is so powerful and Owen was drawn soooo cute his eyes were huge….and I genuinely did not expect them to show the scene of him sticking fingers into his eye sockets to pull out his eyeball I thought they’d fade to black!!! Was very jumpscared but in a pleasant (?!) way… and the Shino eyedrop scene akdshfklsaf it’s so important to me I can’t believe we started with Owen POV angle oh my god. Also the instant regular Owen is back, I was very much anticipating the way mahoani would do it and I was not disappointed!!!

Brad and Nero going Directly to the Lunar Eclipse Palace I’m like, did I accidentally miss their talk last ep, I’m not a massive fan of the scene transitions here and the way the Umbra Volans was animated but they do the job!! I’m also haunted by their duet in the stage so my brain filled in them jumping out the window proper haha

There are a few NPC moments I feel like would really accentuate the urgency and stakes of the situation but I am quite happy with the ~eerie wind~ and the weird colour of the sky! I don’t know if I’d ever get used to the way they animate teleportation magic KAHFLKJDHF Dr. Figaro…ur one creepy scene was stolen from you once again but his seiyuu nailed the scene still!!!

Sometimes I think about how hard it is to animate group shots, and I appreciate that they took the time to make the undead invasion feel pretty crowded. And wow!!! Transformed Nicholas looks wonderfully grotesque and massive and heaAAAAAATHHH OH MY GOD he fell into the water why did I not remember that??!!

Aahhh, the kid with the stone in his stomach :)))) was also expecting them to censor it and they kinda did with the glow but I’m glad it’s made very obvious that it’s literally inside his stomach. Horrible. Mithra how could you. Speaking of Mithra, I think Nova could only do a good job impersonating him precisely because of how forgetful he is LOL

I’m very glad to see the broom chase (with “Mithra” uhh, floating ominously behind) animated!!! A shame they never quite touched on just how fast Rutile is on a broom but they’re doing it on the fly I guess!!! As mentioned at the beginning, I’m so glad they put their entire animation budget into Rutile confronting Mithra about what it means to make a promise that you can’t break – protecting does Not mean burying them in permafrost!!!

AND NOVA IS FINALLY HERE FOR REAL the fact that he hides behind impersonating Mithra for so long in main story 1 means we get an ep 11 reveal but he actually did show up earlier in the crowd shot!!! He’s finally free of spoiler jail aw yeah!!!

Arthur scene means so much to me I replay that line frequently…seeing Vincent completely at a loss and being like. Oh wait this guy IS the crown prince, I’M the one out of line….tasty. And Mitile and Riquet….they’re doing their best but how are two very young wizards going to make it out of the zombie infestation?! And with a spell that Mitile can barely pronounce, oh Dr. Figaro what are you up to….?

This ep was incredible showstopping, the best one yet!!! But it also really cements the fact that I would really not recommend getting into mhyk through the anime unless you’re already familiar with the source material, or at the bare minimum, awareness of jsmk media. I will also always and forever wish they didn’t cram the last 4 chapters into 2 episodes…I can’t believe we only have one ep left hghhhhhhhh…………..

What a waste. The characters finally do something and have emotional talks... but it's pointless, because I don't know who those people are and they haven't shown me the relationships between them they're are talking about, so it has no impact. I've been told the story of this game is really good, so I was hoping to see a bit since it's easier than reading the game, but this anime is a disaster of a promotion. It's supposed to make me want to play the game, and it fails in everything.
