it's odd they went for this type of release instead of making sure to have stuff ready for weekly releases like other anime with good quality
| @GersonSalas Plus Apocrypha, Extra Record, Babylonia, Zero, Unlimited Blade Works even the original Stay Night or Tsukihime adaptations didn't bungle it like this. Which makes it all the more preplexing how Aniplex dropped the ball on Strange Fake as usually the Fate shows and release schedules have been far more well timed and executed. |

They haven't delayed it though. Episode 1 was released early in celebration of the 20th anniversary, it was never meant as an official start for the show.
| @Mando727 I mean from what I heard Aniplex rushed out episode 1 for the 20th Anniversary. I watched the whole panel and then catch the episode as it went live. Very cool, episode was great. Re watched it recently. But I think it is odd to release a special Whispers of Dawn and follow that up with another special in the form of the First Episode then go radio silent on when the show might air. With a vague 2025. |

| Agree with everything others have said. Would rather get a delay than have the anime rushed. Honestly, I don’t mind it that much, but the way they’re scheduling it is killing the hype for sure. |

yeah but A-1 pictures prefers quality and money, money the most of all (look at seven deadly sins and fate apocrypha) if you have seen those then you will understand why i said this.
| @PunGood020 I've not seen deadly sins but Apocrypha was my first fate. Whilst not the best that easily goes to Zero, I did still like it a lot to check out the rest of the franchise |

While I do have a feeling they’re facing production issues, there’s no reason for them to give us updates on a delay, as the show has yet to be officially delayed. It’s still slated for 2025. I’m betting on it coming out in Summer, tbh

| @Meruseitai Well if there aiming for it to conclude then I imagine they have an ending at least in sight. Like I have a feeling Fate/Strange Fake might need to be more than 25 episodes. It might be more likely 30. |

@deg It does feel a little mismanaged. Like the worse part is both Whispers of Dawn and Episode 1 were amazing - I just hope the hype for the series isn't ruined from all these false starts. Cause I know I will be there to watch Episode 2, and bet everyone on this thread will be there. But the other what was it 800,000 views on the first episode over on Youtube when the hype was real - I just hope that number turns out for episode 2.  As a Fate fan, I don't want to see the series fall off XD |
