'Ore wa Seikan Kokka no Akutoku Ryoushu!' Unveils Additional Cast, Theme Songs, Second Promo

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Yomu Mishima's Ore wa Seikan Kokka no Akutoku Ryoushu! (I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!) light novel revealed a pair of additional cast, theme songs, and a second promotional video on Sunday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on April 6 at 2:00 a.m. on ABC TV and TV Asahi's ANiMAZiNG!!! timeslot.

Yasushi: Shinichiro Miki (Bleach)
Brian: Youji Ueda (Sousou no Frieren)
Goaz: Tetsu Inada (Jigokuraku)

Idol group Saishuu Mirai Shoujo is performing the opening theme "Uchuu-teki MYSTERY" and member Nagi Fujisaki performs the ending theme "Nantonaku."

Tetsuya Yanagisawa (Orient) helms the anime at Quad. Katsuhiko Takayama (Saijaku Tamer wa Gomi Hiroi no Tabi wo Hajimemashita.) is handling the series compositing and penning the script. Kazuya Morimae (Kaijin Kaihatsu-bu no Kuroitsu-san) is designing the characters and Yusuke Ceo (Dark Gathering) and Shun Narita (Kekkon Suru tte, Hontou desu ka) are composing the music.

Mishima (Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu) began writing the action sci-fi story on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in August 2018. Overlap began publishing the series under its Overlap Bunko imprint in July 2020, featuring illustrations by Nadare Katamine. The ninth volume was released on October 25 and the tenth is scheduled to go on sale on March 25.

A manga adaptation by Kai Nadajima began on Overlap's Comic Gardo platform in May 2021. The seventh volume shipped on October 25.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed both the light novel and manga in English. The eighth light novel volume is scheduled to go on sale on March 18 while the fifth manga volume was released on November 26. The sixth volume will go on sale on May 27.

@EcchiGodMamster Will be honest, you do not so much dislike medieval setting as such, as the fact that such premise quite rarely satisfies your expectations from the anime.
