Madan no Ichi Chapter 20 Discussion

So.... no one died and there were only a few injuries. Way to minimize the World Hate Majik as an Antagonist and basically negate any threat they're supposed to have. The new character design and clown theme was pretty cool for the Prophecy Magik but like most other characters in this series (for me) she misses the mark (can we get more Uroro please?).

This prophecy was actually 2 prophesies which makes it unbelievable.
1. World Hate Majik will destroy all life
2. Ichi will defeat World Hate Majik and die.

So we can believe that neither of these is going to happen since the Prophesy Majik can't even decide which one it is supposed to be.

This chapter was yet another dud.

@logic340 If I may ask. Why do you keep reading if you don't really like anything about the story? Like not being rude I genuinely want to know.

@Glassesfish I have a really close friend that I discuss the series we read weekly. I read some things he like he reads some things I like.
I have been reading it since chapter 1 back in September. I really enjoyed that chapter and hoped it would be something that I enjoyed. Unfortunately, since then it just has not been able to recapture that feeling. There have been a few standout chapters and a few scenarios I though held great promise, but it didn't handle those in the way I would have liked either.

Look at the prophecy example from today's chapter. Why does the Prophecy Majik give 2 prophecies instead of just saying you will defeat the WHM and then die? Maybe it was the translators mistake?

@logic340 to me, it's more like what she said earlier. Her prophecies are always right, but she will tell them when she seems right. I do not believe this is the the prophecy as a whole, just an outlier. See that she didn't put a date on it, like she did previously. She has just giving them a heads-up.
