Yikes, I think as long as Tinasha and Oscar are associated with each other, one of them would be a target in this series. Tinasha is the victim here this time as she gets kidnapped.

It seems Oscar's sword has a lot of value to certain people.

It's hard for me to watch them not being together, even though just for a little while lol. I am glad they are back together again.

oscar and tinasha just cant catch a break together yikes
not being a couple for even a short time is tough lol
looks like oscar's blade is quite the prize for some people
that's a scary thought considering how dangerous it could be

The second timeline might be even worse than the first one, how is this even possible? The first one is not even that good.

The first Tinasha at least has some dignity, but this Tinasha has no shame going after a man that has no interest in her.

The pacing is still so bad man. Things feel like they’re happening off screen too much like how tf did Tinasha get kidnapped in 10 seconds lmao. Feels like entire chapters are missing or something.

“Stop obsessing over me, you’re a nuisance” is CRAAAZY too. The way I wanted to come thru the tv and slap the shit out of Oscar for being so flippant towards Tinasha 😭 but lowkey it does make sense because why would the princess of another nation stay in your castle and keep fighting with/for you so I can get it, but PHRASING. No need to be a dick to someone like that, but in the OG timeline Oscar had some asshole moments as well like pinning her down so it shouldn’t be surprising.

Of course as soon as she leaves, right on cue Druza attacks. Tinasha still showing up to protect Oscar was sweet, I would’ve left his ass out there though lmao. But that apology was kind of cute. “I’m prepared for you to toy with my heart” my ship is back!!! But this ain’t gonna go down well with the prince I’m sure.

Sadly Animation is still horrendous after a solid first ep, just how the first cour started. ENGI clearly gave medalist their full attention. It sucks because Tinasha and Oscar are one of the cutest couples, but have one of the worst productions 😭

I don't get why Oscar is such a jerk to Tinasha after the reset, wasn't he pretty much smitten with her from the moment they met the first time around?

Miracle didn't happen and in general this sequel is exactly what was expected, the adaptation of some chapters is fast and incoherent. Although I think that it is not possible to annimated 3 not small volumes in 12 episodes. And in the end it will most likely be the same as with the first part, i.e. cut chapters, shortened scenes and censored scenes.

Oscar was harsh in sending Tinasha away, but when he was cornered, she saved him, and he realized that she would always protect him. This made him change his attitude toward her slightly — it's already a start.

I almost never post a comment but this one makes difficult to not exteriorize my discontent. I thought impossible to rush the anime even more but they did it! Now there's absolute no hope to see a decent adaptation wich is a shame because i absolutely love Oscar. We didn't even get an OVA about the secondary characters or the numerous encounters between Tinasha and Oscar that they cut from first season.
With not even a catchy Opening and Ending i think it will be unlikely that i'll finish the show, if i do it will be only enjoy Oscar's soothing voice and expressions.

@notthatjesus it does have a reason but it got away along the other 90% scenes they cutted. I would recommend reading the book but it is not even that good.

@phantomfandom the change in Tinasha's attitude at least is a little funny but the first season was so rushed that made impossible to enjoy those little things.

@Marinate1016 just as as responded to the other person. The whole dynamic had a point as Oscar was constantly bothered by the fact that Tinasha seemed to be interested in him only because he looked like someone else. Btw the scene where she loses control is a lot funnier in the books as she destroys part of the castle.

I get the feeling that we are missing so much story. Just like the 1st Season. 12 Episode crap Seasons strike again. You cannot compress complex stories, it doesn't work. It just doesn't.

@phantomfandom I sort of agree with you, but he does have an interest in her. It's just that he was told that she would be married to Tuldar's prince and he doesn't plan on making a diplomatic incident by pining over her.

I'm so confused, there's so many times that it jumps to a completely different scene with no sense of how we got here. At first I thought I zoned out or fell asleep but no, they are trying to give us whiplash with these jumps.

Also, why is Oscar such an arsehole in this new timeline? I can understand him being wary of her and maybe somewhat standoffish, but he is a dick constantly for no real reason.

Don't know if the rushed adaption is to blame but at this point Tinasha and Oscar feel like completely different characters. If the author wanted to write a story with different characters then they should have just done that.

We're so fucking back, the pacing is fucked again lmao.

Sigh, I'm still so disappointed, this could have been so good.

It's a testament to the author's writing, because despite everything, the anime still was able to make me love Tinasha and Oscar and that makes me even sadder, because they deserve better than this.

Alas, as I do not have the time nor attention span to go through the books, I am going to have to make do with the anime, just to get a taste of this story.

Oscar’s memories disappeared. It would be great if they two got married again:)

It's really funny and sad that it's the reversed season one Oscar was obsessed with her and season 2 she's obsessed with him.

It falls right back into the mess of Season 1. It feels like a random storyline and scenes were taken just to make the episode.
Also what was going on in the first 6 mins about kidnapping?? How was she even kidnapped??
Ah well this is a "tell and don't show" anime after all.

Man that face had me feeling some type of way

I disagree with some people saying they're like different characters; to me they're the same characters and we've seen what they could be, now it's the opposite setting where Tinasha is sort of pursuing Oscar instead. Whether you think it's good or not, well, I'm not gonna argue that

I did like the last season even though the pacing was off and a lot of stuff apparently got cut. We'll see if that makes the second worse given that everything last season un-happened

I also wouldn't be surprised if at some point somehow their original timeline selves' minds merged with their current selves but it would more likely happen to Tina first and she'd have to figure out a way to do it to Oscar. Though I'd be equally unsurprised if it didn't happen. I do think it would probably make the story better, personally

While the new history has taken place, the story itself has gone wayward with external forces, like the Saterne band of armed thieves being prevalent for Oscar's attention, though warranting his Akashia sword for trade just only made matters worse dealing with the Witch herself, which simple spells will not work on her.

Putting that aside, the Druza army beginning to show their true colours, it's not painting a bright picture for Farsas and Tuldarr, and Oscar wanting the war to be dealt with swiftly is the only way they can remain in power, much less Oscar dealing with severe repercussions with his Akashia sword, and Tinasha's interventions being an added strength. Even then, their relationship teeter-tattering on the verge of romance for the sake of face, it just feels a lot more transactional this time than of true feelings.

Story is getting speed-runned to the point of exasperation, as per usual.
