This was amazing! The feeling of the opening was so refreshing, it's an honor to be able to follow a version of Wataru from the modern era, it was extremely nostalgic to see the analogies linked to the 88 anime, I'm looking forward to the next episodes.

I think they test the water with the monthly released ONA in 2020 but monthly release is not gonna work for anime so I'm glad they decide to reboot a whole thing. I'm one of a new fan who never watch the original anime but want to watch a family-friendly boy adventure anime so this will be a nice starting point.

I can't speak for them but I think kids will like it too, there's everything modern kid can related to ranging from YouTuber to VTuber to Minecraft to Tron-like world where each character and place are representative for trendy technology buzzword (Offline, subscribe, etc.)

You really know your stuff, it was a great way to express yourself, for someone who only recently discovered the new Wataru, something interesting, you're the first person from MAL that I've heard say they're interested in this new Anime, all the others I've met were notoriously Japanese, especially in the comments of the first PVs to come out, I hope you have a great experience :)

It was so adorable seeing Kakeru get obsessed with Maro-chan in the opening.

@StevieRara Yes! Without a doubt, this opening is very vibrant and besides, Maro-chan is a VTuber as pure and cute as the two boys looking for adventure could also be.

Definitely something made for the kids of today’s generation. Still, it's an enjoyable watch.

@Mari_Marx I have to agree with you!
Place of speech of someone who already watched the anime in 80s.

I think that today's children will definitely be able to watch this anime mixed with the pop culture they already know:)

At least even though it's too meta ,it is still a creative iseksi mecha show.

@genesic123 You are not wrong in thinking this way, children today, even though they receive so much content, forget to value other more important things in life, but whatever, life becomes more beautiful this way.

And without a doubt this work is super fun and creative, I agree with you! (=゚ω゚=)
