| They first created the movie. The movie was the biggest success in Japanese cinema history. After the success, they decided to rerun the movies in episodic format for TV. The first episode had new content that was not in the movie plus there were minor additional scenes here there. |

| I think the movies are more profitable but they had to cut out scenes to fit into a movie. Didn’t have to give us the extra scenes, but I’m glad they did. Ufotable is the goat |

| @SoloNecromancer Most probably. No matter what decision they make, it's still going to be crazy popular in Japan and they will capitalise that to full extent. The movies will be legendary. |
