well nisekoi, it was a masterpiece if you have read the manga further after the anime ended so we have to wait to see what this will do and I have read manga of this also but there weren't many chapters so far so we can't be sure & have to wait to see.

Nisekoi had a lot of possibilities with childhood friend reveal and crush from before the forced pairing. I hope this also develops a wider and more complicated story. But it is completely different with the lack of yakuza and combat skills. One linking theme does not make 2 things the same.

Only if you are complete anime baby that Nisekoi was one of few semi-decent harem-rom-coms you watched:
Nisekoi had and Class no Daikirai don't: yakuza, only engagement, childhood promise plot
This has and Nise don't: Actual marriage, forced cohabitation, imouto(-like) character for male MC
Tsundere main female lead isn't enough to call it rip-off.

Previous year's "Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman" (Less than lovers, more than a married couple) wasn't Citizen Kane, but this new anime is outright insult to celluloid! Anime industry is more than willing to continue marching on the road of ever dumber series, towards inevitable doom.

The premise is different than that show. Just because the plot feels like Nisekoi, doesn't mean they copied it.

of course it's one of my favourites but that doesn't matter here. I mean it was a forum about if this anime was like nisekoi or nisekoi 2.0 then it is, cause:- in both the series-
1. they were forced to marry each other by their grandparents
2. both are harem
3. both have a tsundere
4. many love interests
5. this is a high school romcom etc

and many more points and for people who are complaining that have a yakuza element so it did have if i won't deny but at the start of the show nisekoi's MC already stated that he won't join yakuza after that point show was supposed to be a teenager high school romcom harem series so author never intended to take it in that direction.

I will again say this anime is the 2.0 version but nisekoi alike anime. See the wording of the sentence.
