| Nikoyama is somewhat of an interesting character...but definitely an important part of the team. Still the usual gimmicks used for this episode. I do find it kinda cute how protective Hitomi is protective towards Kana lately. |

| Interesting backstory. It's Nikoyama's turn to get some nice character development. Sure, they are a team after all and every member is equally important. That Kei dude is pretty annoying. It was good to see Hitomi protecting Kana. She really cares for her. ^^ |

| Trying to headhunt someones staff in front of their eyes is pretty bad taste. Seems Kanna is being noticed by others. It was also nice to hear a bit about what the company does different from others even tho they are a small company the are on the forefront of new development it seems. It's always nice to see people coming with something completely new. |
| I like Nikoyama he seems such a nice guy and he really is just doing his best doing what he loves. |
| I liked seeing Niko's past and learning mor about him, Kouji has a really good eye for talent. Nice to see so many people working together to take care of that Kaii. Interesting exchange between Koga & Kouji, we will obviously learn more about this eventually. Curious to see what Plan B is going to be. |

| To all the Nikoyamas out there who might be ashamed of your passions and interests, please know that it’s ok! Don’t give up on your dreams and what makes you you. You’ll find your place to belong, often when you least expect it. It’s so nice seeing the healthy environment shigemoto has created that’s allowed people like Kana and Nikoyama to shine and encouraged them to embrace their talent! Dream workplace where anyone would want to be. BUT. It looks like shigemoto might be hiding some things about the Kaii mutation 🤔 guessing this outbreak is following the same pattern as the one 15 years ago. Just what happened between he and Koga.. hopefully we get some answers next week. Not a ton of Kana and Hitomi this week sadly 😔 |

| We get a backstory of Nikoyama. I like how magic in this world is an expression of programming. Looks like Magilumiere should have been wealthier a bit if Boss isn't too idealistic and cut the crap of 'not working for money.' I love the episode but AST President is too cartoonish of a villain. |

| Ok, ngl Shigemoto's old outfit is a lot cuter than the current one, the beret is super adorable! If I'm understanding things right, it's possible that 15 years ago there was a huge mutation or kaii situation that Shigemoto and Koga solved together, but for some reason this separated the two. Midorikawa seems to be aware of what happened. Something similar might happen soon, and that's bad. I wonder what will happen next episode! |
| Without the company's usual high-spec computer, the magic takes a toll on the company laptop's processing power. But turning back time, how Nikoyama got his job at Magilumiere, is a culmination of obsession with his magic-making hobby, that despite society thinking otherwise that it's just a tool to be used, that is how he got social anxiety if he tried marketing himself as a magic otaku to the outside world. That is, once he got a call from Midorikawa to meet both him and Shigemoto to discuss his magic aspirations that would benefit the small start-up who doesn't care about images to constantly process strengths and weaknesses from the level of fellow colleagues. And now, Nikoyama being tested on the same aspect, though thankfully a fellow company's top engineer and his buddies decide to help him out to get the magic to both Magical Girls. The same stretch of hand that accepted him, and now with people working alongside Nikoyama to pass the magic on, succeeds in subduing the mutated plant-type Kaii down to human size. To see how much Nikoyama improve his social skills based on his networking, you can't help but admire him. But Koga walking in like a boss to want to headhunt Kana out of Magilumiere, he could've used his funds to buy them out, but the higher-ups knowing a thing or two about past events recurring yet again, Shigemoto keeping a straight face on the matter, certainly gives prospect about bad premonitions happening soon. The Kaii mutations going from this point are not small matters anymore... |
