| Monegold, Desscaras and Shirabedonna are having a meeting and discussing about Ichi. Shirabedonna wants to announce Ichi's existence to the world. A new character, Togeice, appeared and she's against it. She uses ice magic and her design is cool. Ichi got to compete with Togeice now. |

| Wish this was more of a battle shonen and less of a gag manga. The stupidity of all the jokes just makes it feel like it’s made for young children. The more this manga tries to make interesting dialogue, the easier it is to see that the author can’t write conversation convincingly. I’m tempted to lower my score again but I’ll see how the next few chapters go. |

@nanashi79 your 4 is my 7 because I choose to look for the positives and upsides of any type of work that I consume. Scoring system just represents and reflects our minds and how our perspectives are.
And your score reflects that you seem to lose interest or favorabilty in most of the things you consume. That's all.

| @TheDefCrypt no a 4 just means that i liked an anime less than one i gave a 5 and more than one i gave a 3, i have like 200 1s and 2s thats why my mean score is low, when i started in 2014-2015 i watched like 30 new seasonals each season, now there are seasons where i watch at max 4-5 new anime, i lowered all the scores as i watched more and more anime and found better stuff than the one i gave 10. |
| Phrases like "g.o.a.t" and "importing aura" make me think this is the tick tok animes crunchyroll was talking about wanting to implement. Ngl, yah, they are kind of funny, but if it feels like that's all its trying to do at times. also, ichi is getting everything for free, acceptance, friends, and power. all he has to do more of is what he's good at already, that is, hunting magiks. he's barely challenged at all, it feels like. We are getting somewhere with this conflict, but it doesn't really feel like it. it's making me root against ichi, which doesn't make sense for the author to write as he's mc |

That's a fair way to look at it. I do want to respect the pacing the author wants for their story. However, all that is set up without anything really happening, you can have rules set up while at the same time building the characters and overall main story out. The character interactions do not have any substance to them other than playing into their comedic stereotypes it just feels kind of bland imo. We do get some backstory, which is good, but from what I remember, there are not really any meaningful character interactions between the trio. Also, in regard to the overall plot just hunting magiks, the entire series run time is kind of boring no matter how qirky they all are. I feel like we need some impending doom, like ichi being expelled or cast out rather than just being forced into a classroom (or just some villain). like him being instantly accepted by the public and all but one person in the witch oligarchy is such a missed opportunity. Also that one person just wants to teach ichi how to read, theres no overall suspicion or concern about the anomoly that just landed on their lap. I'm not saying the manga is bad, but nothing really good has happened either other than the artwork. I don't want to seem too critical. These are just early thoughts. |

| the colour page of kumugi was so cute, and god I'm actually so obsessed with the character designs of this manga- I already fell in love with Desscaras and Shirabedonna the moment they were introduced, and now there's Monigold and Togeice?!?! They're all so gorgeous, and I really can't wait for the next chapter but honestly I'm not sure who I'm rooting for yet |

It seems you didn't actually read what I actually wrote last chapter because I did talk about what I liked and why I expect more from the series. Others did the same as well in last chapters forum thread. I hadn't posted anything about this chapter so to say I'm just going to bash it every week is lame. I didn't bash it and I'm curious to hear what made this chapter interesting. My advise is this, stop taking it so personal. Talk about what you enjoyed instead of going to war in the comment section and forums. I'm actually curious to see why others think it's so good (including you). But rather than say what's good about this chapter your get defensive and argumentative. Maybe you could open my eyes to something I'm missing but instead you'd rather be a keyboard warrior.
