Hello,
Recently it became known among the western fandom that all 5 members of the Girls Band Cry associated real-life rock formation Togenashi Togeari had their full names and personal identifiable data leaked. However, we don't know when that leak happened in Japan, maybe it took quite a while for rumors to reach overseas fandom. So I wonder if the VA girls for Subaru and Rupa Tomo actually went on "long term medical purpose hiatus" because their parents became scared of that doxxing incident and pulled them out of the project? (note: they are still legally minors)
If so, the future of GBC franchise may be difficult. Especially Subaru-chan became a core character of the anime and a clear fan favourite, even if she was just an artificially inserted "balancer" cliche in the original script.

Damn, never heard of this doxxing incident. Pictures from their events have been popping up on my YouTube feed, and I was wondering why there were only 3 members in most of them.
Hope the other two are able to bounce back soon.

Yeah it did happen but I'm not sure about the consequences of that.

The concept of minors is not exactly a problem as such but if the parents are the ones calling shots then it makes sense that they pull their daughter out of the project. Maybe the parents were assured that their daughter will remain anonymous.

Togetoge insta did post a picture of all 5 members very recently (I'm just assuming because it was not specified who the other 2 people were along with the main 3 of the band)

So there might be hopes of revival of the OG gang of 5

The "replacement" keyboardist already participated in making of Girls Band Cry anime (both in song recording and motion-capturing roles) but the drummer seems to be a newcomer.
There are alternative theories which say the two missing girls are like Momoka, i.e. unable or even consciously refusing to see themselves as idols and wanting to stick with genuine rock music.

Ah okay. I just vaguely remember seeing the picture.

That's just sad for the OG 2 members to be victims of such a pointless crime. Hope they make a comeback

I wonder if the source of careless PII leak may have been the franchise's music talent agency AgehaSprings, as they publicly list the TogeToge girls exact birthday and prefecture on their webpage: https://news.agehasprings.com/creators/ (note: scroll down)
Some otaku then possibly figured the stage name girls use may just be their real given names. So how many Rinas were born on 11/13/2007 in Hiroshima Prefecture, for example? Considering Japan's super-low birth rates, may have been a few of them or just one and then it's not hard to pinpoint.
