Yeah I never watch mecha but tapped on this show solely cause of the character art. I love fairly odd parents type simple character designs with a lot of expressiveness and personality. Watched Luluco for that reason too

The character design shift is the best thing going for it as someone unfamiliar with the franchise. I think as a westerner I find comfort in this type of style unconciously even though I don't often watch western cartoons

Nope. The first 2 aquarion's are going to continue being the only ones I watch. This just doesn't appeal to me one bit. I guess I'm too old for this new zoomer sh*t. Aquarion Evol was also a downgrade from the epicness of the first Aquarion, but it was still completely watchable. Logos completely lost my interest on the first like, 5 episodes or so. This one, one look at that animation and I'm good, don't need to watch this one either.
