for me it's too much generic drama and super predictable output

I really don't understand how Season 6 and 7 are not better than so called Season 2 and 3? I get it they are good but in no way they are better than these two , people usually rate them higher because back then image of mha as a show was good but now has declined because of Season 5 which leads to lots of people thinking the ones after it would be equally bad 🤷

8/10 it's good. not everything is a 10/10 and people have their own tastes as to what they like. but for me this is a good season but it is not perfect

Over-reliance on flashbacks and narration as plot devices. I don't mind short flashbacks that give you a better understanding of a character, but when you're doing "5 minutes ago" or "20 minutes before the current fight" every single episode it gets redundant.

As for narration, having it during fight scenes is usually unnecessary. I don't need the story to hold my hand, I can infer when someone gets stronger or develops a new move. Granted, I like the MHA narration a lot more than the JJK, but to me it still adds very little.

I think MHA is a great show, and I'm invested enough to see it to the end. It's not 10 material (usually 8 at best with a few outliers) but I'm having a good time.

The second to last episode was definitely a 10/10, probably the best episode in MHA imo. Other than that its "just" very good though

I don't rate things a 10/10 unless it's perfect. My favourite anime series is Jujutsu Kaisen and I would still give it a 9.5/10.

It’s not doing what it’s known for anymore. The show started with capitalizing on shounen troupes by emphasizing Deku’s ability to overcome adversity and his own weaknesses (either through extreme thinking and mumbling or the power of friendship or luck) and posed them next to “realistic” outcomes like hero deaths on a mission. I’m not a manga reader but it was never questionable to me that Uraraka was going to die at the end. The show used to be more convincing in the weight that each threat posed by having heroes die but that doesn’t seem to happen as often since Midnight and Crust died last season.

It’s a very standard shounen where the highest emotional stakes in the series belong to a side plot. It isn’t groundbreaking and it doesn’t hit on deep emotion in general. It’s just a well made shounen battle anime, of which there are many. It’s an 8.

I gave it a 10/10 too, loved every aspect of this season. I guess that we can say that because it leaves us with a cliffhanger, that might affect the overall rating. You can also add that MHA has a lot of haters.
Anyway for those of us who appreciate this show, this season was a bomb.

What are criteria for a 10/10 show? If you give everything a 10 then you’re just inflating the scores. Is this show really without fault? It was a great season but some of the plot points and motivations of characters and typical illogical power of friendship crap that could’ve been solved with a non-flawed conversation could’ve solved half of these conflicts but I guess that doesn’t make for good contextless hype and pandering

All Might talking shit to All For One was so crazy to me. Him using gadgets felt like i was watching Batman fight. It was that good.

Last season was way, WAY better than this. I think that’s the problem with this season for me. I was expecting the story to continue at the same quality but it didn’t. If they compressed it into 16-18 episodes increasing the pace and reducing the fluff, then I’m with you.

Stain not showing up and episode 20. Only good thing about the episode is that I won't see Touga ever again, but she really even took a third of the last episode :(. Anyway mostly the Stain thing, I really wanted him to show up, specially how we were bringing back old characters too. Like if All Might is dying right now, he won't go to end Stain, he needs to show up! I hope he does next season. The Bakugo part was the highlight of the season in my opinion, well the Todoroki conflict resolution was also done really well
