I think this is for the very first time that we will actually get to see the continuation of the story from where the original series left off anyways Big W to us Spice and Wolf fans. |

| @Mavuika The City of Lenos arc from LN Vols 5&6 was in S2 of the original anime. they just skipped over The Village of Tereo arc from LN Vol. 4. so the new S1 didn't get as far into the books as the old version did... but maybe new S2 will keep going even further than Lenos. |

| I'm so happy it seems like this is gonna be a complete adaptation, this loses a bit of weight given that the original also was incomplete and skipped alot of stuff/ did anime original bits but I hate how common it is in anime now for adaptions to just never get endings so something like this thats championing multiple cours and multiple seasons is a blessing. |

Since this is a reboot, we are likely going to have a full main story adaptation (main story ends at vol 17 on the epilogue chapter) because the light novel series is ongoing on spring log short stories as well as wolf and parchment.
Right now, 1st season ended at volume 4, so there are 13 more volumes left to be adpated. 9 volumes and one volume chapter alternatively if side colors are not adapted since they are short stories, and one epilogue chapter is only adapted from volume 17 since the rest are side stories as well.
There is no telling if there will be a continuation of the anime after the main story ends whether its wolf and parchment or spring log.
