| Just as the exchange between Kongou and whatever that Japanese high ranked official is called piqued my interested about Fog initially communicating through battles due to its nature, the authors jumped the shark and made it a safety device against the rise of ocean levels... Why make a result of century or millenia long climate cycles the trigger when, if human activity was supposed to be limited, it could pollution. It'd still sound like something out of Ferngully but at least it would make sense. I thought about reading it again, since with so many characters and very irregular translation I started to lose track of what is going a while ago, but now I'm not sure it's even worth the bother if the plot twist behind the Fog will turn out to be at the level of Moonfall's... At least Takao looks great in her new getup. |
