Frankly, I'm worried. However, if it gets season 1's treatment, I don't think saying that: season 3 of MT has potential to be the best season in anime history is any kind of overstatement.

The reveal for season 3 is pretty cool. Someone on Twitter said , " How they tease all three girls' color and shit."

The Green for Sylphie
Blue For Roxy
And Red for Eris

But anyone could've noticed this 🤷‍♂️ but it's pretty cool

The quality from season 1 to season 2 is a bit lower. Still very good, but I hope they can keep it going. I haven't read the source, but I've head they rushed aa few parts, and skipped a few things. Nothing super important, but it still makes me a bit sad. I hope they give it the episode count it needs. They could do 25 or 26 episodes (13 per cour) to avoid that. We'll have to wait and see.

no it doesn't
S2 P2 is a solid 8/10 in animation
S1 throughout is a 9.5-10/10 depending on episode
S2 P1 however is absolutely abysmal. It was thoroughly incompetent right from the storyboards to the AD corrections. 5/10 overall, 4/10 if not for episode 7's solid animation and storyboard.

We really can't be sure. If Manabu returns, so will a huge part of S1 animators. I'm also wondering if Re:Zero had a role in S2's downgrade.
