Episode focused around Miko who seems to be dealing with her own problems.
She seems a bit to scatterbrained at times and not sure where to focus at least that's the impression i get from her.
Well at least she is trying which is a good thing.

Great to see the focus on Miko this episode and how she is adjusting to being in Bicycle racing. Really looking forward to seeing what happens in the rookie final.

You gotta love how this episode started out with Izumi not being able to win any races and being told to keep aiming higher and higher until one time you’ll be surprised you won, and then that exact thing happened seconds later lol, maybe this bicycle racing sport isn’t that crazy if winning for the first time comes like that, or maybe Izumi is just that good lol.

But this wasn’t even the main focus of this episode, it was actually about Miko striving to win so she can make the rookie final. And here I thought she was just a YouTuber, but no she was also an idol apparently, the center even, and I’m left here wondering how that fell through lol, I already thought it was silly that she completely abandoned YouTube for riding a bike but now this, but I guess being an ex-idol that races bicycles is cool sounding. And I did enjoy her little journey here with Matsuyama, she didn’t want to resort to a tactic that typically gets you a high placement but ended up gaining respect for how Matsuyama does things, I personally found her view of things pretty realistic, not everyone is going to be the protagonist of the racetrack. And thankfully by the end it looks like Miko will make it to the rookie final, and the next one being focused on Sachi has me thinking the final stretch of the show might focus on each main girl or dedicate at least half of each episode to one, and the finale could be the rookie final, I can see that being a good place to end on but I could be wrong.

Izumi has only been an official Keirin cyclist for a month, and winning races is hard as it seems. Even Kurume did not start out easy, and persistent training made her to who she is today, and slowly but surely, Izumi begins to top the races, even if she feels she won by luck.

Still, this episode focusing on the idol fallout of Miko Yahiko, her on the path to becoming a Keirin cyclist is not easy, much less wanting to be in the Rookie Final, she feels the punch from veteran cyclists like Tsubaki Matsuyama teling her that she's just taking shortcuts to win, like with the drafting technique. Keirin cycling, though a betting race for the Top 3, it's still giving her fans something to cheer on, though the secrets of drafting shall be kept secret.

All the best Miko.
