Wow Kumamoto Ai got expelled from the academy. This was totally unexpected. She was forcing herself too much when she needed to rest and it destroyed everything. But, I mean... she's part of the main group. wow...

An emotional episode with Ai losing her spot, it's harsh but it's her own fault for not listening to the warnings of others still it's sad to see her go like that.
Hopefully she will get another change.
Izumi on the other hand seems more motivated but now the question is if she is willing to give her all even if that means leaving others behind, her kindness seems to be a obstacle at times.

So gutted that Ai has been forced to leave the training camp I have no doubt that this will just motivate her more to achieve her dream.

I know it’s a shame Kuma had to leave the camp, especially when she’s the one that got the main girls there in the first place, but I like this outcome as it goes to show this sport isn’t sunshine and rainbows, Kuma messed up and now she’s paying for it. But there’s at least a light at the end of the tunnel with Tachikawa taking Kuma on as an apprentice, she may be out for now but she’ll be back, not sure if it will be within the course of the show or not but it will happen, I kinda hope it is within the show so we can witness her glow-up.

And I was thinking Nana might actually delay her early graduation to stick around longer, but no she actually went and did it, and she left on a good note too by giving everyone letters on how each of them can improve, this means she’s been paying attention all this time which is nice to find out. And near the end we got to see an actual race, Nana’s first after graduating, and either I’m getting used to the CGI or it actually looked half decent, I thought the close-ups were well done and made things a bit more intense than they looked zoomed out. And Nana actually ended up winning, I thought for a bit we’d see her lose due to not being ready for an actual race but she’s actually just that good, this has me looking forward to when the rest of the girls are able to compete for real.

And lastly, damn they’re making sure those strong bicycle riding legs look good lol, I noticed that when Nana was eyeing the other racers, it’s much appreciated.

Kuma gets absolutely hurt all over, and only has 2 weeks to get herself back to the training camp with everyone's help. For Nana, she's already passed so she's onward looking, and not even the make-up exam can ever secure Kuma's spot as she's forced to leave immediately. Nana thinking that she is the cause of Kuma's downfall, and Izumi taking her place feels like a burden being passed the baton on. But not all hope is lost, because Kurume has decided to take Kuma has her apprentice for training.

With Kuma gone as an inspiration, everyone focuses on the graduation race, of which Nana already passed her prerequisites and heads out of the training facility to move forward, but not before giving everyone her written farewell cards of encouragement and moving onto a much-anticipated race of her own, with everyone looking on her, fellow cyclists and even rivals, winning like her usual standards.

Kuma will come back strong in the future.
