Please, post your suggestions for both websites. Already suggested features will be listed here. Specify which website in your post:

Legend:

  • To do list has already accepted suggestions.
  • Suggested list has features I am still checking.
  • Others lists have features I want to implement but they are not possible, at least, in the short term.




MyAiringList


To do:

  • Plan to Watch AND Not Yet Aired anime that starts airing this season showed on calendar.
  • Kitsu support.
  • Show currently_airing in on-hold and plan to watch:

    • Could add all list.
    • Add switches or buttons to show/hide each list?
    • Filtering not airing animes for performance reasons.

  • MyPublishingList (manga version)
  • Compare two MyAnimeList/AniList/Kitsu? plan to watch airing animes list and show coincidences.
  • Add more themes.
  • Table view mode calendar.


Suggested:

  • Add info tool for remainder list too.
  • Add more themes.
  • Custom theme creator.
  • Hide text and image for empty days.
  • New calendar view style in table instead of week days columns. Simple date and anime name without images.
  • Select broadcast time by platform.


Needs estructural refactorization:

  • Autoreload anime airing hours each minute (or more):

    • Should recall AL API for new anilist_anime.nextAiringEpisode.

  • Timezone selection:

    • Should recall AL API for new anilist_anime.nextAiringEpisode.





MySeasonalList


To do:

  • New chart: hours watched per season.
  • Show/hide +18 content.
  • Check if animes with only 1 episode dont start and end in the same date?
  • Fill BBCode banners.


Suggested:



MAL API limits:


  • API does not allow get related_anime/related_manga from userlists:

    • Filter animes with/without sequels or prequels (new anime with no related titles).

Hi. I just found out about this like several weeks ago and I love it. I have a suggestion to customize / change airing date and time with airing date of different platform? For example this season's Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan aired in Japan every Wednesday, but will only appear in Crunchyroll on Sunday of that week. Aside from that everything is perfect. Keep up the good work

@tradaaa Thank you! Pretty nice suggestion! Initially a wanted to use own's MAL realease date data, which correspond to Japan's TV release date. However, an option to switch between both release dates could be good. I have to give a check though.

@Morteux there was a website similar to this called Tsuiseki.moe . It has been inactive for a while and the domain expired. They have that feature of choosing streaming service for each currently watching anime. https://github.com/asermax this is the user that created the website, but seems like he is busy with his life so yea

@tradaaa So interesting, I have to check it! Never heard about this site though. The repo is public so I can give it a try. However, I am not planning to update the website any soon yet. Just smalls fixes and QoL. Maybe around the end of the year :P

Could just be me but MySeasonalList has been broken for my account and loading slower. It worked for about 2 weeks a couple months ago but recently it breaks and is saying it has a KeyError for "start_season." Love both of these though myairinglist has been essential to me this season lol

@Jonchat I am glad you can enjoy my work! :D Pretty niche case here. This Sushi was causing the issue, since MAL DB hasn't its start season nor a complete start date. First time seeing this issue, but now it is fixed! I hope you can enjoy MySeasonalList too! Thank you for the bug reporting by the way :)
