So we have a pink haired girl that's not much interested in romance, the cool taller and black-haired senpai who's in love with her and the senpai's blond friend who's also in love with senpai.

Nino is the objectively superior one, don't @ me

Personally whisper imo is far better than bloom into you. But that’s just my opinion.

And aki’s love for Yori hardly even lasts it’s just really in the story to give Hima a push.

They are both great in their own ways. And Yori and Hima quite literally look nothing like Touko and Yuu

And they’re personalities are all completely different

I think they're different which is good because I ended up bailing on YagaKimi

They are nothing alike at all… in fact yagakimi explicitly takes a very different direction from (and even a critical stance on) many of the same yuri and shoujo romance tropes sasakoi employs completely sincerely.

I like Sasayaku better than YagaKimi, also the same case with both mangas

YagaKimi centers around the topic of what means to "love" and your true self, SasaKoi is more a fluffy romance that doesn't really give that much attention to that part. I'd say is more like Kase-san than YagaKimi, mostly after vol 4.

Only you can save yourself.
I only know what I know, I guess?

the setting is different in both animes

yes they are similar but SasaUtau is more "fluffy" and "colourful" than YagaKimi (i dont know how to describe it properly but they are different!)

This is more cute and wholesome than Yagate Kimi ni Naru.

They’re pretty similar, but I’d say they both have their own unique take on the yuri genre

the only thing in common is that it's yuri. I really like bloom into you and this. I'm gonna start reading this manga soon probably because I need more faster.

What you mentioned is basically just the initial trope/hook. Maybe it was an intentional nod to YagaKimi, but they otherwise have almost nothing in common.
