| Consistently above average, which is something you can't necessarily say about a lot of action-centric series. Major props to Takafumi Torii, Yoshihiro Kanno, and many others for bringing so many good sequences. And of course, a special shout out to Takayuki Kikuchi and Hirokatsu Maruyama for episode 11. Fantastic stuff. |

The entire animation budget seemed to be saved for the last two episodes, and they got some interns to handle the first ten.

| Average at best. Pretty low quality overall, beside 3 good sakuga sequences, which is a too light amount of good for a whole season. Some "casual' scenes were embarrassingly mediocre, like the jogging scene with protagonist's sister, sorry but that's some saturday morning western cartoon type of animation. It might sound insingnificant, but that's actually where you see the lack of attention to details, and the lack of passion from the studio for this project. Which is somewhat understandable given the uninspired writing of those scenes. Anyways, outside of the 3 sequences mentioned previously (not even entire scenes, just sequences), most character animations looked unnatural, stiff, uninteresting... Not helped by poor directing either. Botched work. Just saying... |

@BitChilly On the other hand, I like reading the comments of those who say that it has good animation as if they understood something... (there are also those who compare this show to Violet Evergaden, lol), I wonder what lessons these people have followed for being so expert to say that it was a beautiful animation, you know ๐คฃ?

| Really good and surprisingly stayed consistent in its quality, unlike some other anime from these past few seasons (like Shangri-La Frontier). I don’t see how the animation could have honestly been much better, besides removing some CGI (which looks good anyways) and making the characters look more like they did in the Manhwa (which seems to be fixed in the S2 teaser). |

| They fucking cooked. Wasn't expecting this level of animation from A-1 pictures considering their rather questionable and poor use of CGI in 86 and Nier. It was smooth and consistent throughout the action scenes and deserves no less than a 8.5/10 in my book. Even the CGI blending was very good. |
