| This was a really nice ending to the series ^^ Shed a few sad tears when Shinichirou showed Miyu pictures of Sanju waiting by the door, and then happy tears when Miyu went to go get Sanju! I like that Shinichirou shows more warmth and encouragement than he did at the beginning. As long as Miyu understands the problem, he can be with Sanju again. Shinichirou telling Miyu's mother off was so satisfying, too. It's not a long term solution, but hopefully Miyu will be able to have a better relationship with his mother down the line, although it will mostly be up to her. Love the after credit scenes with the owners and dogs from the previous episodes! Very wholesome~ I'm going to miss this series, it was a lot more engaging (and educational!) than I thought it'd be. |
The best anime of 2023 in terms of educational value. What it lack in animation, it delivered in truly emotional moments and very useful easy to digest information. |

| SPOILERS WARNING FOR MY FRIEND WHO HASN'T CAUGHT UP BUT WILL SEE MY POST POP UP IN FRIEND UPDATES LOL I waited so long for a Sanju episode and can't believe I only get it at the very end hahaha. It was so cute seeing Sanju fully express his happiness, and really funny when I watched it because I commented, "Wow so rare," and a character immediately said it was rare to see Sanju like that. This anime is very special. The way the characters have been portrayed are so realistic and touching, and it's so nice to see how the characters' relationships have grown over the course of the episodes, both main and side characters. I wish there were more anime like this. I will be reading the manga. 10/10. |
| Hardly anybody watched it and for a good reason. It's very very mid. Some lessons are worthwhile but the surrounding plots are more often than not a chore to go through, and by the end they completely abandon the "teaching about dog ownership" thing anyway. I could count a handful of good episodes and none of them have the main character in it... |
