Dr. Stone Season 4 anime was officially announced after the Season 3 finale on Thursday, and its title is Dr. Stone: Science Future. This will be the final season of the series.

Its something I saw going around, what do manga readers take of this. Is there enough for another season and only 1 more?

90 chapters in 1 season will probably be split into 2 cours

I'm not a manga reader, but by looking at the pace at which they've adapted chapters so far and by how much still needs to be adapted, it's probably going to be divided into 3 cours of 13 episodes each. (Season 3 adapted 6 volumes, there's 10 volumes left)

there's no way. this season would have to be like 4 cours long at least, if treasure island took 2 cours theres no way they can go to spoiler place then go to the other spoiler place then go to the OTHER spoiler place all in one season

Its fire, one of my favorite manga easily. The art is really good as well. I'd say to read it if you like reading manga, but if you prefer watching anime the adaptation so far is very solid and it seems like they're gonna keep making it. So basically, read it if you like reading manga or if you don't wanna wait for the anime

definitely not, this is just the second last major arc prolly couple more season to go after this one unless this season happens to be like 30+ episodes lmfao, but it's all good at least you asked to find out
I like Közi a healthy amount.

I want them to do an AoT final season type of thing where it has more than 1 part

Even 2 cours would be way too fast paced. The current pace means that 3 cours adds up to about 85 chapters and there's 90 left. So 3 cours would be best, not 2.
LOL, your opinion is wrong!

@Fang_Tooth in the final few seconds of the episode it stated "Production Confirmed for Dr. Stone Final Season", so it will be the final season, but yea highly likely its gonna be either heavily cut down or more than 2 cours long

i’m looking forward to this new season, i’m slowly working my way through the third quarter of what has been animated and i’ve found the pacing to be slow but the humour is always entertaining, i hope the story is able to hopefully have some more ‘unique’ story elements towards the end and perhaps a satisfying ending

@anikun2k10 oh damn really? (Mb i must've misread the original thread post) that's horrifying lol god i hope they take their time with this one then and don't cut anything since this point onwards is my favorite part in the manga.

It will either get a lot of cours and dragged on or it will be extremely rushed and ruined

I'm more excited for this than when they announced Attack on Titan Final Season and I prefer Dr. Stone over AoT.

can anyone tell me why they have to make more parts and not just end it in one go?
i mean, the manga had ended long time ago, just make damn 50 episodes and end it already. i can't take it to wait for another freaking year for just one cour, and then wait another 5 years to end this anime that the manga had ended long time ago. how it's making sense?
last time i'm gonna watch anime that hasn't finished it's story . ..
