Makes me wonder when it does start in Japan on broadcast, given already being out in the US.
Might, oh horrors, MAL have wrong information entered?!

@KANLen09 The reason I was testy was that at the time I posted I couldn't change the status from "Plan to watch" to "Watching", despite having seen the first episode and there being an active first episode discussion topic.

When I attempted to, the response was that I couldn't change it to "Watching" since it hadn't been released yet.

I found that irritating.

Now, a day later, yet still two days before the 8th, I can change it to "Watching".
So I must presume someone with authority to do so has changed the release date information that controls when one can change from "Plan to Watch" to "Watching" in the meantime.
Quite possibly prior to your reading my post, making me look like an ignorant ass as opposed to someone with a legit grouse.

@Weasalopes sorry my bad for misunderstanding your intentions.

Sometimes MAL has incorrect information, so that's why there needs to be someone to correct this informaiton, which I did and the mods have updated this information as well. Not everything is correct from the get-go.
