| For reference, besides a token framing device, it's mostly a remaster/compilation of two previous episodes : - the first part of #219 "The Gathering of the Detectives! Shinichi Kudo vs. Kaitou Kid" (i.e. only the "Clocktower heist" part) ; - and #356 "Kaitou Kid's Miraculous Midair Walk" (originally a double-episode). You can tell they kept the old voice tracks not only from the presence of the late Unshou Ishizuka as Inspector Nakajima, but also #219's early-instalment oddity of having Takayama as Aoko and Hayashibara as Akako. |
| It's like connecting the version that aired in the TV version. The voice actors are also the same as in the TV version. However, only the opening scene is a new theatrical version, so I was glad to see it. |
