Is this anime like Denpa Onna?

I read the description and it's giving me serious Denpa vibes. The score of this anime is quite low however and I'm torn if I should watch. Is this hot trash or a legend in the making?

I like it, but it's nowhere close to being as good as denpa onna.

Too many Shonen fans out there! I give this a 10, it’s excellent.
On the Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko comparison, I think it’s got a very similar vibe. Although no male protagonist or harem situation, just cute girls with a faint hint of yuri but to me more like close friendships. No direct reveal whether the ‘alien’ is real, but lots of suggestion that she could be.
Similar vibe with D.I.Y. too, the tsun characters have parallels.
I’m glad I found it, another highlight in an excellent season.

Dunno about Denpa Onna but Hoshikuzu is a pretty wholesome SoL with an all-female cast. Focus of the anime is primarily about space-related stuff. That’s about it, there’s nothing else interesting about it.

For me, this is more like Do It Yourself!! CGDCT where a bunch of girls building things together. It has a very similar fluffy atmosphere. Also, there's one cranky girl in that show as well, but not as cranky as Raimon, hehe.

A score doesn’t always predict if you’ll like it or not, just give this show a try I’d say. It’s a really sweet SoL show focused on building (model) rockets and friendships, nothing too crazy. I personally like it a lot. :)

They're completely different. This is a Kirara CGDCT.
Out of the shows on your list it's probably closest to Machikado Mazoku.

Some fairly close similarities/vibes between one of the main characters in Hoshizuku and the main female character in Denpa, but a completely different type of show in terms of atmosphere: one is a harem romcom with some drama/sol and mystery, while the other is a cgdct/sol/yuri anime!
