Its a great watch.. Its good enough to be considered for the anime hall of fame if there ever was one
Its mature, well paced and the actions also good
Its a solid watch guys better than shadow garden people

Not that I've watched it or even intend to (mystery & suspense are meh items for me) but at least it's still new and has a pretty good rating. Many are the shows that are years old, under-rated and with no hope of being talked about so welcome to MAL where your fav shows could be nothing-burgers to most everyone else :)

Because anime doesn't know how to do the psychological genre.
Kids get impressed easily, this results in Psychological anime being hot garbage.

Have yet to find a psychological anime half as good a MindHunter.

Being released all at the same time on Netflix is a contributing factor. There’s more hype generated week to week watching anime usually. Being released all at the same time there’s discussion for a few days at most and then it’s gone. The real problem with the Netflix model especially when most anime still does it week to week.

Well it isnt for everyone and the first episode can fool people into thinking its about one thing when its not. I wouldnt expect Urasawa Naoki's works to be something that are as popular as the mainstream stuff either
