| dunno about the other two but for this; the romance was already introduced in s1. in universe literally everyone knew al n sei liked eachother. the show didnt make the romance aspect the main plot, and whatever was shown was mostly done without the general cringe drama most things with romance tag have. The excuse for sei was al kept saying it was his duty to protect the saint, so she couldnt tell if he actually liked her or was just ding her job. same for al, and when he saw the the whole political marriage thing becoming real and the grand magus told him how her powers work, [since its the 3 of them always, so he tested her during the drama, asking about the golden sparkles and then told al she likes him bcz her powers work on love, for him] he just straight up asked her to marry him. |
